The expansive park runs along the Hudson River and is one of eight officially designated sceniclandmarks in New York. Sports fields, elm trees, and a public marina welcome neighbors of all kinds.
This park was created with love in mind. Enjoy a stroll along Manhattan's Westside while taking in views of New Jersey. Best time to visit is during the early morning or while the sun is setting.
Enjoy the views while walking along the Hudson River and visit each of the Riverside Park dog runs spanning a 35 block span at 72nd St, 87th St, and 105th St.
NYC has gems all over the place if you look hard enough and Riverside Park is definitely one of them. Great view of the Hudson River, quiet, well kept & clean. Good place for light walking or trailing
This park is awesome for jogging, walking your dog, hiking or gazing the Hudson at night with your hot date. Amazing romantic setting and my favorite park in all of NYC.
The place is lovely, whether you go for a run in the morning or a walk in the evening, with trees and greenery all over. When walking, you come across a host of welcoming puppies.
Huge park and great view of the Hudson River across to New Jersey. I’ve been walking 10k+ steps per day at this park every day this week, it’s my own 31 day challenge.

The new piers at 125th are spectacular, especially at night. It's amazing to see the transformation of this are, made evident in part by the fact that my friend and I even felt comfortable at night
A four mile stretch along the waterfront, great for marathon training if you run down and into Battery Park at the bottom of the island, and then up the East River Path in a loop.
This is where the fight with the Baseball Furies takes place. Look for the Firefighters Memorial that they run past (You can also find where they shot the movie version of big meeting in this park.)
Enter the park from 83rd st. and climb the rock to the right. This is where E.A. Poe used to sit & look at the Hudson. True, you can't see the river from that spot anymore (trees) but who cares? Poe!
