It was called Dongguan Station and renamed 3 years ago so make sure you get the right station.

So buy your ticket and get the soonest train you can board, no one actually checks the ticket after passing the barrier. 有票就入閘上車，車上不會查票的。

Coach 3 stops the closest to the immigration escalator, go there if are in a rush and don't want to wait at immigration

This station has been renamed from Dongguan to Changping on 20th June 2013. 東莞站由6月20日起更名為常平站

If you need food there is a KFC and McDonalds on the G/F concourse.

Another tip for this station: despite automatic door opening on CRH1 these days, you still get a 30s-advantage by pressing door open.
