Bonny BNVOctober 1, 2014This is the place to get VOA to China. Cost 168RMB and only for 5 days. A very crowded station, people doesnt speak English and all of the signs were in Chinese. Better stay in HK.
Greg LAugust 12, 2012Get food before going in. Free water avail. Expect a wait, over an hour weekend nights. If you can afford extra 20¥ for soft seats to SZ, I recommend it.
There's a ticket office with direct access to the trains one level below ground (ie one level above MTR) between exits C and D.
The metro line here is Line 1(LuoBao Line). There are two different entrances in Shenzhen Railway station, the one for normal long-time trains and another is for Guangzhou-Shenzhen(CRH) line.TakecareUpvoted Mar 18
Andrew LeydenApril 14, 2013The gate to your train closes 5 minutes before departure. Be there on time or it is the next train (usually standing room only) for you. If you can't make it do not enter area or tickets nonrefundable
They love to keep lines here. They only open all the counters if it's a holiday and a chaos anyways. I love the fights when they close a counter.
Directly adjacent to Luohu HK border crossing and one end of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen railway line. Busy. Especially on holidays.

No free bottles water here. If need to buy drinks, but from vending machines, cheaper than the shops. So prepare spare change! :)

Has anyone ever had the 虾肉馄饨 on the train? They're always sold out! Today the waitress even tried to deny me the 虾肉馄饨面 saying I couldn't have any although I just saw someone order them.- 买票或者候车千万别去二楼，人非常多、而且大多民工样、环境脏乱差几乎要窒息。相比之下一层就非常之好，排队购票的也不多、而且干净、候车室一般还有座位。
