Matthew CaldecuttAugust 22, 2017I try to catch a cab as close to it as I can to avoid having to wait too long in traffic to get through. Head out of Manhattan 9 PM or late and you'll zip through
Put your phone down, lights on, and pay attention. It's the only way you'll make it to the other end of the tunnel in one piece.

If ur having a hard time staying in lane in this narrow tunnel, aim for the cones instead of the wall. Cones are made of plastic & won't damage ur car
9:00 traffic heading into queens is outrageous at this time be patient..- Roll up your windows to prevent the tunnel smell and auto exhaust from scaring the babies.
If you are in the ezpass lane, please have an ezpass. Pay attention people!!
HoV lanes back to back bumber just to get on... Quicker is qns midtown...
Riding the tunnel in a convertible is not recommended!
if you can't drive through this tunnel & your complaining it's too narrow.. you probably shouldn't drive in NY..
Lights in this tunnel are horrible! If you've made a wrong turn and wound up taking the tunnel for some weird reason, good luck.
