I have always had nice stays here. However, they have recently locked the thermostats, making it impossible to adjust the in-room temperature without having the front desk send someone up to do it. :(

They've disabled the thermostats in the guest rooms. If you don't like the temperature you must call the operator to send somebody to your room. Even then, all they might do is open a window.
Le Parker Meridien's Knave, the little coffee shop at the 57th Street entrance is just amazing. They actually treat you like a human being, which is saying a lot for midtown.

I'm at the Le Parker Meridien in NY, where I've been many times before. The Burger Joint in the lobby is renowned for having some of the best burgers in NYC.
