    The walking bridge is no longer open. Only way to the island is via ferry ($12 RT). No concessions on island. Bring water and snacks. Bring swimming/snorkling gear.

    The state may cut funding for this historic site so visit while you can, thank the workers and sign the petition to keep it open. It's in the main office on Knights Key inside the old railway car.

    Walk the bridge to Pigeon Key and check out all the sea life along the way. Turtles, rays and sharks to name a few
