Josh BAugust 20, 2014Beautiful, historic hotel in lovely area of DC. Staff is fantastic, especially the hot bartender Bo from Georgia. Highly recommend staying here as there is easy access to Woodley Park-Zoo Metro.Upvoted 2 weeks ago

There is only one Omni Shoreham. It's full of history and grandeur. If you haven't been inside, it's a must see. Make sure to check out the garden in the back especially in April.
Great hotel, the wifi is okay if you are in the correct room. The hotel has a great style and the beds are great.

Back garden is a great place for the kids to burn off energy. Beds are fantastic! Breakfast buffet is great! Loved our stay!

JackJune 26, 2013Cheaper parking options in the area. Overnight hotel parking is $41+ incl taxes. There is public parking on Calvert a few blocks away for $20. Or park on street. Tickets are $30 if you stay 2+ hours.

If wifi is important to you, make sure to ask when you check in for a room with strong wifi signal. Major differences thru-out in ability to connect.
HISTORYMarch 31, 2010Mickey Mantle would lead his teammates to the rooftop of this hotel hoping to see nudity when the team was in town to play. In 1941, the Yankees held a surprise party in room 609D for Joe DiMaggio.
