- Katherine M.March 12, 2015"A chain of 24-hour, diner-style Korean restaurants... Soon Tofu stew [is] meticulously flavorful, at around nine bucks, served with a whole fried covina fish and a half-dozen banchan." –5 Every Day Read moreUpvoted 1 week ago
- Kimberly QJuly 24, 2015I would suggest doing the combo meals so you can get some soondubu but also try their galbi. It was so so so good! They make nurungi from your leftover rice in the pots, great way to end the meal!
- Stephenie NunoJune 21, 2015Great place! They give you lots of side dishes along with your order. Their kimchi is great!! Love their bulgogi and their tofu soup is really delicious~
- Kelly 🍰September 3, 2012The Dangerous spicy level is false... Not spicy at all. all of their soon dubus are good. The combos come with smaller soon dubus and only in the assorted flavor. Galbi is surprisingly tasty.
- 24/7, free private HUGE parking lot, awesome Galbi and lots free cold sides with free refills. They always do it right. Must love!
- Pieter LevelsAugust 4, 2017My favorite place to have great quick authentic Korean food in LA. Prices are relatively cheap for LA. It's open 24/7 so go whenever. The mackerel is really great!
- Roger MaMarch 3, 2015The perfect spot for late night grub (open 24/7) and you get a free fish with each entree!
- It's the too go place for awesome Korean BBQ and Tofu soup! It's like Korean's McDonalds. You can expect to get your order exact the same each time. Fast and delicious!
- Ugur KanerDecember 16, 2017Come here to avoid wait, enjoy lunch entrees and combos. Galbi and hot stone bibimbap are delicious. So are unlimited sides ❤️
- Their soon tofu is the best! Their combos are amazing too! So much food at a great price! They also recently renovated so it's a lot bigger and better also!
- Morgane CattinSeptember 11, 2014Delicious tofu and so authentic, be careful that "mild" already quite spicy for european people ;-)
- John Manoogian IIIMay 5, 2016Their seafood soon tofu + galbi combo (w/ free fried fish appetizer) is still a classic, especially if you’ve had a few drinks .
- Irina SOctober 4, 2014Had the beef mushroom tofu pot. Not bad. Interesting bc they give you a small fish with the other Korean appetizers and put water in your rice bowl so you can't eat the crispies :(
- TulaniAugust 13, 2014The lunch specials are an incredible value. The spice levels make everyone happy. Perfectly seasoned and always open!
- Open 24/7, and pretty quick service! If you're a fan of Korean food, this is a must eat place. Soft tofu is good, but their seafood pancake is 👌👌
- As the token white guy, I can say start with medium spicy if you're not sure. I promise it's still pretty hot! I like #22.
- JasonJuly 9, 2012The #2 Soon Tofu Soup with Shrimp, Beef and Clams is seriously the best. Make sure to drop in the egg right when you get it and then stir it in. The yolk richens the broth. Mmmmm
- 오미헤June 19, 2011I love it here but it ain't 24/7, but I always get seafood tubu, mild spicy & I'm lovin it because it isn't too big or too small but no MSG fsho... maybe? ahahaha it taste so good though
- Christina ChinAugust 29, 2022Banchan here gives whole fried fish! Super busy place, even on a mon night and may need to wait a bit.
- Justin OrdovezaJune 18, 2015Great service. The original soon tofu was good. Be prepared to get full.
- Spicy seafood soon tofu with spicy pork bulgogi.... their meal is to share.. I can't finish the whole thing... just ask for extra rice... 😉😉
- Vivian EOctober 23, 2016Soondubu is always great. They seem to progressively skimp on Kalbi portions each time I visit. It just looks sad now.
- Erica ChangJanuary 27, 2014Get the seafood tofu, extra spicy with no egg. And their tofu salad with the wasabi dressing is DELICIOUS!!
- Favorite late night destination whether drunk or not. Tofu soup, galbi, bibimbap... What's not to love??
- Original beef soondubu with mild spiciness--yum! Plus the crispy garlic tofu bites are good too!
- Jackson TsaiFebruary 18, 2015Chain Korean tofu house, still one of my favorites BC of the convenience and price is decent.
- Open all the time. Need I say more? Good food, great value.
- ❀✿ YIᑎG ✿❀November 12, 2014Great place to go if you're hungry late at night. The soon tofu is really good
- Hau TranFebruary 12, 2013Great for vegetarians; they have veggie tofu soup, which is cooked with water. Delicious : )
- Bcd has gone down hill since the remodel. Prices are higher, No more spicy claim side dishes, tofu broth is not as rich anymore. If you're drunk it probably all tastes the same, though
- Kevin TeFebruary 18, 2014Awesome place, and it's 24 hrs :D and the wait isn't long either, recommend :)
- I used to love this place but it’s not the same anymore. The hot stone dishes weren’t hot and lacking in flavor. The side dishes were the worst — the kimchi had a raw cabbage taste to it.
- Quick service, reasonable prices, consistently quality every time.
- Dan KaoSeptember 1, 2013This is what hits the spot when you're running around drunk in ktown and it's open 24/7
