- Ben HongJuly 28, 2016If there's one thing you do in this life, let it be having tried the Havana scallop sandwich at Paseo at least once. I've tried many of their sammies, all very good. Scallops are on another level.
- Serious EatsDecember 4, 2013Highly-regarded Seattle restaurant specializes in big and messy Caribbean-style sandwiches. There's usually a bit of a wait, but it's well worth it. Just note that it's cash only!
- Alice HuangJanuary 30, 2016Unfortunately the wait is still as long as it used to be, but the sandwiches are no longer worth the wait. But at least they take credit cards now. And calling ahead to order is the way to go.
- Throw like a GRLJanuary 23, 2017This place makes the best Cuban sandwiches. The portions are LARGE and it's dirt cheap. It's CASH ONLY. I got the Paseo Press and #noragrets. Be warned: you're going to need A LOT of napkins.
- Kristen OteroNovember 5, 2015Caribbean Roast Sandwich is a must (per my husband)! I got the ham and Swiss (minus the cilantro) and it was delish! Only flaw was the ham was ice cold on a "hot" sammich. :(
- Cole KennedyFebruary 22, 2017What is it with Seattle and sandwiches? This salty, succulent sonuvagun is called the Paseo Press, and you need it in your life as soon as possible.
- Joel GoldmanJuly 27, 2013Get the Paseo Pres. Those succulent morsels of roasted pork are sure worth the wait! Oh and I can't stress this enough, get extra napkins, the juicy goodness tends to go everywhere!
- LloydJuly 22, 2013One of the best sandwich you'll ever eat. Cuban roast and the scallop sandwich is a must! Get there early if you wanna best the line up, and they sell out fast!
- Connie ChiuSeptember 30, 2017Got the Caribbean roast and it was juicy good! Though some of the meat was dry and I wish there was more sauce or fatty pieces. The bread is a little hard and thick to chew through. Or I'm just old.
- _May 26, 2015Caribbean roast and Paseo Press are delicious and huge! Call ahead for take-out to avoid the line.
- #1 and 2 are both good normally pretty busy during lunch. So if you want to sit and eat inside come here inbetween dinner and lunch-they might still be busy. Also they might run out of bread too
- Ulysses .April 19, 2017Used to be amazing, and probably still is if you go in person, but via delivery, the Caribbean roast sandwich loses much of its flavor, because they skimping on the amount of sauce for the bread
- Rohit TurumellaNovember 26, 2012Stick with the sandwiches (Paseo Press and Tofu Delight) over the plates. Make sure to call ahead to make sure they have bread left (otherwise head over to the one on Seaview)
- SabinaJanuary 28, 2015Get a sammich - leave happy. Oh and they take credit card now (minus amex). Call in advance so you don't have to wait :)
- Seattle's best sandwiches and probably the best meal for the money spent ratio. It's time you tried it, and the Caribbean Roast is a good place to start
- Devin WinterbottomAugust 30, 2014Great sandwiches. Leave them mostly in the wrapper like a burrito. If you open it all the way they're impossible to eat.
- Connie LuJune 30, 2013The sandwiches speak for themselves. You can smell the slow-roasted pork from a mile away. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
- AnthonyJanuary 20, 2019It's not as good as it used to be (I'm pretty sure the founder no longer works there), but the sandwiches still taste great. They feel smaller and are more expensive than they once were, though.
- RossMarch 7, 2013The #2 is the best seller, but the #1 is where it's at!! Way more flavor and so freaking tender. Best sandwich ever.
- Luke HamiltonFebruary 24, 2013Best Cuban sandwich outside of Miami! Get there early, the line is long and they run out of food from time to time
- Annie LyFebruary 20, 2014Caribbean roast sandwich. Do it. Keep it in the wrapper to reduce inevitable messiness.
- Henok KidaneAugust 2, 2013Do yourself a favor and call ahead for your order - this place is crazy popular, and after devouring their Caribbean roast pork sandwich, I see why.
- Luna BelloSeptember 6, 2013This is very good but not mind blowing bread a little tough but the pork is cooked to perfection
- Natalie VJanuary 28, 2017Good sandwiches and you get a lot for your money. Messy to eat though! The #2 is great.
- Sidney ChunAugust 19, 2013On weekends, check out their menu and call in and order over the phone for pick up. The line for pick up is less than a 5 minute wait.
- ᴡ SantosAugust 29, 2015Not the most authentic, but the onions and everything create an amazing and unique sandwich
- Chris S.December 16, 2016It was OK but they don't make a true Cuban sandwich. I don't love cilantro but it would have been easier to tolerate if the sandwich had come with the pickles and mustard that it was supposed to.
- Vaidy KrishnanMarch 13, 2015Best Cuban sandwich place on earth.(discounting the ones in Cuba which I'll never visit of course). A Seattle classic
- Scott RoseDecember 6, 2021The food - mostly Cuban-style sandwiches - is consistently good and the staff is friendlier than they used to be.
- DiJuly 30, 2010This is the BEST place for Cuban Sandwiches! Bring a book becuase you'll wait in a long line for these scrumptious goodies - but I'll tell you what, it's DEFINITELY worth the wait!
- jessica powellJune 17, 2010Drippy, messy, tender pork goodness in a ridiculously delicious sandwich. Can't go wrong w/the Cuban Roast, their most popular, but my new fave is the Midnight Cuban Press. Avoid friday to avoid lines
- Tried the #2 and left extremely happy and satisfied. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu.
- Nat McCullyFebruary 12, 2015Recipe has changed, but still similar enough for some to get their fix? Pork sandwich ok but companion didn't like. Her onions not cooked enough, sauce was not packed with depth of flavor as before.
- Cuban roast sandwich is amazing. Less messy if you stuff it in a Solo plastic cup to eat it (bring your own cup)
- Sarah FoleyMarch 12, 2015Caribbean Roast sandwich: sweet heavenly morsels of pork. I crave this sandwich always!
- SouthernBeetsMarch 19, 2013Sandwiches so good that you need to take a shower afterwards (seriously, they're a beautiful saucy mess!)
- Durwood GaffordApril 2, 2010Amazing food at a very reasonable price. Be sure and try their grilled onions. Very limited seating and often busy -- plan to get it to go or eat outside on the sidewalk?
- Asia MinorMay 8, 2016Open again, long lines at lunch testify to this being one of the best sandwich places in town
- EverydayAugust 3, 2013Carribean roast sandwich. Amazing. Oh and cash only. Oh and expect a long line. Always.
- Kimberly WongJanuary 31, 2013#Travel! Arguably one of the #BestSandwich I have ever had. The Paseo Press is the perfect #foodie storm sandwich. The best of sweet, savory, pickled goodness.
- Van Patten Van PattenAugust 8, 2014Everything, especially the onions are excellent, ask for extra onions
- get the #2 sandwich at Paseo! killer! cuban pork shoulder :) can't beat this - i add extra jalepenos. be prepared to wait in line if you go during peak hours!
- Moe GhorabJanuary 11, 2014The good is extremely messy but just as good as it is messy. The only proof you need its the epic line
