venessa tarbellNovember 17, 2011Your kids will love the Oz-themed sculptures in this park. You'll also find a playground, walking path, tennis courts, and a garden.
The park is pretty huge and great for sporting, but its main attractions are the statues of Dorothy, Toto, and the rest of the gang. I don't recall a yellow-brick road, sadly.
Lina GonzoOctober 15, 2012This is my kid's favorite park in Chicago! They love to play hide and seek in the wooden two level open labyrinths of paths.
This park is named after the magical land of Oz, created by L. Frank Baum. The children's author was a Lincoln Park resident in the 1890s.
Great fun park for the kids but no restrooms close by so stay away from trees if you get my meaning.
They planted new grass in Fall of 2018 so it should be gorgeous by Summer 2019.
