Take the multi pass : many museums & no line ups which can be crazy like at the Louvres...also, visit for the afternoon & finish at the rooftop to enjoy a fantastic view of Paris in the sunset. Voilà!
Great selection of modern and contemporary art. Works by Mattise, Picasso and Kahlo can be found here besides other works that track the 20th artistic movements from cubism, expressionism to dadaism!
The museum is amazing BUT the bathrooms need work and the food in the cafe is overpriced and sub-par ... Also it is rather crowded but well worth it if you like I love modern and contemporary art!
This building is a good sample of typical and modern architecture. When you start to walk around the building you can see exhibition and historical places at the same time. ✔️
There are various galleries within and you need a lot of time to see it all. Get the ticket to see everything even though you don't plan to, it gives you access to see the most amazing view of Paris.
Incredible multi-disciplinary complex, not only a modern art museum with temporary expositions but also 2 cinemas sala, a great public library, and a peformance space!
An amazing modern and contemporary art collection housed in a cool building. Ride the escalators to the top floor and take in some amazing views of the city.
Europes biggest museum for modern art, expect visit take at least 2-3 hour. Come in the evening for line is shorter and less people for museum many days has open late.
Quite a few Henri Matisse pieces, a couple of Picasso works but I love Ten Lizes by Andy Warhol most (4th floor). Also amazing Henri Cartier-Bresson exhibit through June 2014!
Library with free access on the second floor. There’s also a cool free comicexhibition in the library. Great place to have a break from walking up and down the city (without spending any money).
One of the best museums in the world for art from the 20th century and onwards. Take the time to linger, learn and fall in love with the art, the building, and the views.
The Pompidou Center hosts the largest museum for modern art in all of Europe. Try the entrance located at the back for a quicker entrance into the National Museum of Modern Art!
If you love modern art it is the place to be, but you have to wait for everything. There is lots of chaos in the cloakroom, make sure you have ticket for the museum before you stand in line.
It was an impressive permanent collection of modern art, the exhibitions are great and the view of the roofs of Paris on the highest levels of the building is marvellous. Awesome museum!
Modern art museum with free permanent collection (don’t queue, just walk in). The statue of Zidane and Materazzi is in the forecourt. The restaurant on top is mainly worthwhile for the view
A building that houses the most underrated art collection in Paris. For what it's worth, the art was inspiring and I had more fun here than I did in Le Louvré by a long shot.
Fantastic. Free lockers downstairs and then start and the top and work your way down. So much to discover. Take breaks and give yourself at least a day.
One the most famous museum in Paris, enjoy the permanent collection of modern art or the interesting temporary exhibitions! You can have a great view from the terrasse too.
A must visit in Paris if you enjoy modern art! They hold many temporary exhibitions that change quite often and their permanent one is worth visiting as well.
Queues every where. You wait in queue to enter the building, to buy a ticket, to the cloakroom, to enter the exhibitions, to enter a special exhibition (Magritte ~45 min). Apart from that it is fine.
Always amazingly curated expositions at the Pompidou. All people from EU and under 25 get a free entry to the main floor. Come early to avoid long waitinglines.
Modern architecture and a good place to discover. Good on site shops for designer goods and books too. Try the elevators too for a good view over the city.
Always remarkable exhibitions, try to visit in the morning and use "billetterie automatique" which is also available just before the entrance of the galleries, to avoid waiting in line.
Enjoy the exhibitions and make a reservation in time for the restaurant at the roof. Combine it with a walk around Les Marais. Maybe you'll meet a famous artist.
on top of the phenomenal twombly exhibit, this museum has wonderful art and arranges it in a way that shows the conversations happening in different art movements...must go and see
What's not to like here? The building is unique, the art displayed contemplates the best representants of modern art and the view from the top is amazing!
Always changing and always the same, the Pompidou has a great permanent collection and temporary exhibits. Don't get put off by queues, walk straight up if you're not interested in a specific show.
This is one of the world's leading collections of modern art. Everything from Pollock, to Warhol to Miro are on display in this piece of modern architecture. Definitely a must-see when in Paris
Houses the largest collection of modern art in Europe. Great special exhibitions! For a nice break in between exhibitions, you can go to Georges on the museum’s top floor. Read more
The Centre Pompidou is a 20th-century architectural marvel. It's home to the National Museum of Modern Art and is renowned for its 20th and 21st century art collections
My favorite museum in Paris! Fabulous permanent collection full of Picassos, Chagalls and Duchamps. A must see if you are a Modern and Contemporary art fan.
Awesome bookstore, great coffe place & restaurant, but mainly, some of the best exhibitions in Europe! Make sure you also check the balconies which offer the best panoramic view in Paris!
Rassemblant plus de 100 000 œuvres, les collections du Centre Pompidou constituent l’un des premiers ensembles mondiaux de référence pour l’art des 20e et 21e siècles.
