M.R. falsely claimed there are multiple United Clubs at LAX. Totally false. There is just one United Club at LAX. It's quite large and near gate 71A. It was constructed a year ago & is very nice.
Remember: Star Alliance Gold gets free access, but only on same-day international flights. Otherwise must have membership or be traveling business/first.
Absolutely one of the better United Clubs in the system. Plenty of room and an above average food selection. Just up the escalator and to the right after security.- It's the only United Club at LAX, and well worth the visit. Nice views from the large windows and helpful bartenders who know how to make strong cocktails.
- My favorite United Club. The outside-side seating is a nice change and the views are great all round

n sNovember 22, 2012Enough snacks to satisfy a vegetarian like me for lunch. If you're worried about wifi signal there are plenty of Ethernet plugs around.
NY Times, LA Times and USA Today... real newspapers available from a rack near the snack area, all complimentary. Take your copy to read onboard!

Erwin JansenJuly 24, 2022Wow. If you and your family (2 kids) fly United First domestically and you are Star Alliance Gold - they still only allow 1; the others get charged $59/person or no access. Customer experience fail.
Before complaining about the morning "bagels" and coffee, just remember-- you didn't come here for the food.

Karl JonesJune 11, 2012I've had higher grade mouthwash than the "complimentary" stuff they pass out. Otherwise, it's not too bad as domestic lounges go.
There's hot chocolate mix behind the bar. Just ask. Add steamed milk instead of water and it's soooooooo good! Have a safe flight!
Don't trip on the bar chairs. They stick out in the back. Seen several people do it.
Ryan MOctober 14, 2010Beats waiting outside in the overcrowded terminal. Well worth the day pass (7k miles) if you aren't a member.
iPhone users, turn off your cellular network then try to connect to the WiFi. Solved my connection issues with T-mobile. You can turn it back on after connecting.
Sprint 4G works here but it drops often in the club. 4G coverage is spotty throughout LAX, but 3G has 100% signal. T-Mobile wifi can be slow if its crowded in the lounge. 4G is better in ORD & IAD.

This is a first. Was told no booze till 7am. Very interesting since they have always served before.
- Ok, they've done some desperate refurbishing, and it's an improvement. More outlets--thank you! Still could use a more aggressive cleaning staff, and more employees to help.

Check to make sure your laptop or phone is charging. Even though it's plugged in, NOT ALL the sockets in the club are live!!
- Outlets near the bar are few and far between. Claim a plug before heading to the bar.
- Simon TOctober 16, 2011Disgusting drinks. Hope you like Coftea or Hot Cofolate as they are careless about keeping the hot water urns clean. Always contaminated by coffee.

Food, drinks are nothing as good as Heathrow or Sydney lounges
- Use the "t-mobile" hotspot to connect to wifi with your membership number. iPads pop up a javascript dialog when connecting.
