- Taco stand is the way to go. And then add crema and cheese at the register.
- This is my favorite Taco Shop in SF! It reminds me of the actual taco stands in Mexico. Bite sized meat and tortilla tacos with no frills and great salsas! They also have good Veggie Burritos.
- Always open later than any anything else. Suadero and Buche tacos are not to be missed, but the hidden gem is the vegetarian burrito menu. I'm not even veg, but the cactus burrito rocks. Tip highly!
- Chefs FeedApril 5, 2017Vallarta has the best tacos and burritos in the city. The carnitas burrito is always delicious and so filling. It has great salsas to go with anything you order. Read more
- Best tacos in the city. Get one of each kind. And some yellow habanero salsa, and apply gently.
- Al Pastor, Suadero, and Barbacoa tacos are the best. Pollo too for variety. I've tried all 12.
- Doc PopMarch 26, 2012Try the Elotes (grilled corn) - My favorite cheap late night snack on 24th. It's just a cup of corn, cheese, and cayenne pepper. They call it "escite" here. (ee-skee-tay)
- Talisa ChangMarch 9, 2013Ugh those tacos at the front cart, all day every day forever. Get the lengua, al pastor, and carnitas. Repeat.
- Great taco stand at the front. Don't bother ordering anything off the menu, none of their menu items are as good as the tacos.
- William JohnsonMay 27, 2015Love the lengua torta. They don't skimp on the meat and layer the toppings well. Serious amount of jalapeño so be aware
- Shagun AulakhNovember 6, 2014Best as a late night spot...fresh made tacos at the front. I don't think I'd recommend any of the plates. Just the tacos
- Melon LJuly 15, 2015One of the best places for street tacos in SF. Beware though - Their quesadilla includes an obscene amount of cheese.
- Totally legit and a bit more flavorful than Taqueria Cancun. Head straight for the taco stand in the front of the restaurant and have the lengua, cabeza and carne asada.
- One of the neighborhood favorites that opens pretty late. On the richer & oiler side; many vegetarian options.
- Arthur BodolecJuly 25, 2013The fastest way to get a taco in the coty! Ask for your choice of meat at the fromt counter, add your topings yourself. Pay. DONE!
- Melissa HernandezFebruary 28, 2015The tripas tacos are divine. Crispy, flavorful-- add cilantro and onions (plus your favorite sauces) and its heaven.
- David PoulsenMarch 9, 2016Awesome Lengua and Al Pastor tacos with super atmosphere and open late for quick snack!
- Tom MaxwellJune 26, 2014The normal burrito de carne w/ beef was great, and the whole place had that real authentic vibe.
- Suadero, Barbados, carnival, carne asada tacos are the best. Horchata and corn too.
- Curtis ShoungAugust 3, 2018Go on the adventure. Beef tongue. Intestines. 👍 The standard protein offerings are fine. Those stand out.
- They have an awesome Taco bar open late. Tacos are $1.75 each.
- Some of the best tacos in town! The green salsa is good. Delicious Alambres, and solid burritos.
- Becky OtterBotMarch 21, 2016The beef tongue and carnitas tacos were delicious! Great late night spot.
- @JaumePrimeroNovember 19, 2014The tacos al pastor here are cheap and tasty. Grab some ice cream around the corner afterwards at humphry slocombe.
- Alyssa BereznakNovember 28, 2015cheap and delicious. look up, there's illuminati art on the ceiling.
- On late party nights, the taco line is longer than the full menu line, so pop your head in and check.
- Best tacos in The City, hands down. $2.25 now, still open after last call.
- Maybe the best tacos in San Francisco. Try the cabeza.
- JamieMarch 22, 2011don't be a noob. order your $1.50 tacos from the stand in front... not the back counter. salsa verde! (and plenty of seating in the next room...)
- All of the tacos are incredible! Tripe tacos are amazing here.
