- m dNovember 27, 2018Strongly recommended. Ramen is very good. Ordering system is efficient. The system and their service make the wait much shorter than it looks. definitely is a milestone for Bay Area’s ramen history.Upvoted Feb 3
- DELICIOUS RAMEN! The Black King (squid ink) ramen with heavy garlic, green onions, kakuni, firm thin noodles, and 1 spicy came out perfectly! The broth is so flavorful and the noodle is perfect too.Upvoted Mar 13
- Radamantis TorresJuly 14, 2018The ramen is fantastic, and the kitchen is vibrant and full of life, I was lucky to sit at the bar, great experience, this is like a Ramen place in Japan but in South bay
- Jess TaiJuly 29, 2018Tried both the Red King (normal spicy is more like mild) & Black King. Liked both! If you like Al dente noodles, maybe try getting thick noodles. Extra firm on thin noodles was still soft for my taste
- Priyanka LJune 27, 2022Vegetarian 🌱 ramen is heavenly! Don’t eat anything before this. They really helped us choose the best option and it was amazing 🤩 .
- Al B.August 27, 2018EXCELLENT place! Well worth the half hour wait because the quality is top-notch with staff very eager to teach you what they put into their dishes.
- Tobias SchmidtJuly 17, 2018The Black King is a good bowl of ramen – only so-so chashu but an interesting seafood and squid ink broth and great noodles. But no way is this worth the insane wait!
- Andrew WongAugust 23, 2019It was very authentic like ichiran where you can completely customize your order with many different broths. For first timers Level 2 spicy is very tolerable. Look out for long wait times even at open
- Try the veggie ramen, really nice and rich broth, and the hashes are super good!!
- Squid ink and black garlic ramen is sooooo good! The flavor is Rich and smooth. Recommend getting it with the thicker ramen noodles.
- Amazing ramen; best place in the Bay Area. Green was my least favorite, but still not bad. Red and Black are the best.
- The Red King is my favorite- a little spicy, brimming with flavor and broth. Love the pork belly version with egg
- Joanne ShemiotJuly 1, 2018Amazing broth!! Everything is so fresh and tasty. Staff is great too. I’ll be back for sure.
- Yiola ValtoudiNovember 8, 2018Lots of customizable option for their 3 basic ramen broths. Vegan dish also features as a guest. I wanted a miso ramen and was disappointed when I realized it wasn’t available
- Nikos KrodirasJune 6, 2023Delicious spicy ramen and gyozas ! Prices are also low and service is okay.
- Nathan WrightAugust 13, 2018If you have the time to spare, Ramen Nagi is 100% worth waiting in line for. Unbelievably delicious.
- Hermés PiquéJuly 22, 2018Close enough to ramen you would eat in Tokyo. Expect to queue 1 hour or more if you’re not early. Don’t miss the snack gyoza. The tamago 🥚 is a little bland.
- Susan LaiAugust 27, 2018Original, Black & Red all delish! Get firm thick noodles & light flavor & spicy #2. Egg is perfect!
- Curtis ShoungOctober 13, 2021Prefer the thicker noodles, both are good. The chicken karage side is really chicken nanban and tasty.
- Red King with level ten hotness is the bomb. 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🔥🔥🔥
- Shannon LowSeptember 7, 2019Tasty tonkotsu broth but not really authentic. Somewhat overseasoned, too much pepper which masks the flavour of the tonkotsu. Decent attempt though. The squid ink is interesting, but overseasoned.
- Jonny LeaheyFebruary 25, 2019Get the Black King + chefs choice for a delicious rich and flavorful ramen.
- Bring some music on headphones or games to play, it's going to be a long wait (45-90 minutes).
- Ask for the available appetizers…they’re not always listed on the menu.
