Amazing views of the city from the top of Montmartre hill. One of the best spots to watch the sunset in Paris. Visit on a clear day. A must see destination! Cafes of Montmartre are around the corner
Sacré-Cœur’ means ‘Sacred-Heart’ in English and is a reference to the heart of Jesus, which is the representation of his divine love for humanity ❤️ Beautiful Church......Lovely area 👌
Marvelous city view at early morning, rest of time filled with swarming tourists. Explore the neighborhood, Montmartre vibes are much stronger then you think.
The Basilica is beautiful, but check out the church to the left - built in 11th century by nuns using stone from an ancient Roman temple that stood here before it.
One of the most known churches in Paris, located at Montmartre at the top of a hill is always vigilant of the Iron Lady and all Parisians. Do not forget to climb at the top for a magnificent view
Worth the climb to see a free view of Paris. The basilica is great as well. You can enter for free and go to the observatory tower for a fee. We aware of the street vendors
Go early if you want to see the fantastic views of Paris from this 19th century cathedral at the highest point in Paris. Otherwise, it's overrun with Japanese girls taking hundreds of selfies.
Lots of stairs have to be climbed in order to reach this beautiful Catholic Church. Even though, there were lots of people hanging out there enjoying the view of Paris, you enjoy serenity inside!
In a montage of shots of the devastated earth following the zombie attacks of World War Z (2013) we see the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur with the Eiffel Tower in the background as we hear of the new hope.
One of the oft missed by Paris visitors. However it is a must see. Try arriving via the Montmartre bus and alight at Place du Tertre. Walk through the market before reaching the basilica.
It's a beautiful church. There is a small park nearby Over looking Paris which has a Beautiful view. However lots of people during summer time. As usual. Ahah. And few hills to climb up too.
Lovely catholic church, HIGHLY recommend the dome trip - 300 steps and 8 euros, but the view was stunning 😍we went there one a foggy day, but a great alternative to the eiffel tower😊
the climb is so worth it tho. if youre lucky, you'll catch this dude doing tricks with a soccer ball and scaling lampposts. honestly one of the more memorable experiences in paris!
Scenic view . You feel like you walk on time ; feeling like i am not in 20c any more. Old beautiful building . Vintage restaurant serving tradition french cuisine (especially crepe ) .
My favorite church in Paris. Beautiful architecture, lovely neighborhood, and great views of the city. If you're lucky you'll catch the soccer guy in nice weather, though it does create quite a crowd.
From outside it's one of the most spectacular sights in the world. Inside it's pretty forgetful. I prefer the view from Notre Dame than SC dome. Plus it's easier to climb given the narrow stairs.
True Landmark in Paris Skyline. You can see it from almost any place in Paris. Is a nice luminous church different from the dark gothic ones! You have to visit! Read more
The dome of the Sacre Coeur is the second-highest point in Paris after the Eiffel Tower, providing great views of the city! Come early morning or evening to avoid the crowds!
Worth the climb for the view. It's not really with paying for a ride up. The stairs in the center area are pretty broken up. Do a set, then stop for the view and pictures. Then repeat. Good workout
Really enjoyable place. You can pray, you can eat crepes, chocolates, macarones, you can make art, you can just sit on the ladders and make love, you can do shoppin... whatever u want
I had a local drive me up to Sacré-Cœur, but would still highly recommend making the effort to visit. The views across Paris are lovely and what little I saw of Montmarte, it is worth visiting Read more
Located on the Montmartre Hill, near Pigalle, this beautiful cathedral offers a lovely viewpoint. The streets nearby are the home of numerous painters and musicians. A bit touristy but must see.
You can use your T+ ticket for the funicular ride up the Butte du Montmartre and save yourself some energy but walk down through the backlanes and find the surprising private vineyards.
Beautiful basilica atop a hill overlooking Paris. Go inside and possibly catch the nuns choir singing, then tour the neighborhood down the hill for great restaurant options.
This is my favorite church in Paris. The views from the dome are awesome, but the climb to the top is very narrow, so a warning for those who are claustrophobic.
ZOOS,important for breeding but a huge new nature reserve for Leopards is possible(via innovation) yet inlcudes also the whole red list Logiacolumn.com (translate "about us"via browser), Zoo=too small
Worth the walk up the stairs and past the horde of sellers touching your arm. Just hold on to your wallet and say NO ! not so bad on the top, there they sell you beer and are a lot nicer.
The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in Paris, France.
This place is not only about "the great view" thing but the holy and sacred atmosphere inside the church!.. It gives your soul such a unique, blessed feeling! You can light a candle and make a wish!
Be careful of the scammers outside! Very aggressive scammers!! They will try to grab your arm and tie on a bracelet, or sign a petition then insist you donate to their fake charity for Deaf people.
Definitely make the climb to the top of the dome. Breathtaking views make the huffing and puffing worth it. Stay away from bracelet vendors, who can get quite aggressive and physical in their efforts.
Beware of the aggressive friendship bands scammers on the way up. Totally fantastic city view is worth it though. The church has amazing architecture too.
Go all the way to the Basilique. Go on, through the park, up the stairs, go go. It is really really worth it. You may thank me when you have caught your breath.
