Chenghao FuMay 10, 2019The huge, new istanbul airport must have something wrong in design. You need to walk miles and get thru security check for connecting flights — not ideal for a transit hub.

Impressive! Ultra big, spacious, you need to walk a lot, give extra time. Staff is very helpful; many “Ask Me” people around. Very clean. Huge airport with relaxing athmosphere and well designed inferior. Many support personnel to help you inside so that you don't loose your way. Beware of the distances inside the airport to that gates.

Please Airport administration fix free WiFi issue we never receive SMS messages to activate the connection yes their other mode to activate but I am not ready to expose my passport number

All the food is overpriced here! It looks like that the airport was built to only sell overpriced airport food instead of providing flights.
Largest terminal in Europe. Variety of duty free shops and restaurants. Beware of walking distances of your gates. Major drawback is the parking time of the planes after landing

The more I travel, the more I am getting used to this airport which I still thinknis unnecessarilly too big. Yet I love the fact that there is a library at domestic departutes
Are you ready to walk? It was opened right before the pandemic, so I haven’t seen it working in full capacity yet. It is shiny new and sparkling clean. It is home to me and home is where the heart is.

AP du PlessisSeptember 11, 2019Turkish Airlines business lounge is amazing. It doesn't have as much people as you'd find in similar sizes airports. Manti, massages, tons of space and a maze of food, drink and baklava options.

- Arrive 3-4 hours prior to your departure time! Watch your luggage, trolley cost 10 Turkish Lira (coins, bank notes or credit card), have a safe & enjoyable flight! رافقتكم السلامة، رحلة سعيدة!
Huge airport with all the facilities (even deckbeds for those who spend hours on transfer👌🏻) except drinking water and free trolleys for luggage 😔

M. KhalidAugust 6, 2019The Airport is new and has many levels and doors if you are ubering don’t go to the lower levels doors stay up! Most ubers are the yellow and blue taxis and 99% they’ll use the longest route!

Make sure that you have comfortable shoes/sneakers when you arrive here. You need to walk a lot. Looks like a shopping mall w expensive shops, food quality is terrible
Huge airport. Come at least 3 hrs ahead of the flight to enjoy the airport. Love the shopping center vibes and cafes around each & every corner.
Greatest airport existing on the planet!! With so many restaurants and a very diverse duty free shop and cooperative staff! The only problem is that it’s quite far from the city which is so boring
Freaking huge. It is not fully complete. Planes land in an extreme far corner and taxi like forever (at least 45 min). Chaoticly long walking distances inside to the gates. As a frequent traveller.

P.November 4, 2019For such a busy airport it’s a bummer that the internet access is available for one hour only. You can use your mobile number and passport to access the internet for total of two hours.
Zafer KilicJune 25, 2019Take your time carefully. Especially if your gate F or G. Will take at least 15 minutes by walking. There are lots of restaurants and luxury brand stores. Also there is no accounment for last calls.
Its just too big, plane lands and taxis for 25 mins. The walk from the gate till the passport control is another 15 mins walk. You walk through the empty space most of the time.
Large airport, full if services and options, easy link between arrival and Departures,, Turkish airlines got amazing present in thier home airport.. I recommend to take an express bus or a regular bus if you have ‘Istanbul Card’. The bus terminal is easy to find.
Huge and new airport. If you’re in a connection make sure to calculate the time it will take you to the gate.- However, you won't die from starving, every duty free store offers mountains of complimentary Turkish delights of many kinds, even bahlava sometimes 🤤 Ugh, seems like I overate...

Use public transport to get to the airport. It’s quite convenient and cheap. Arrival time is almost the same as taxis. Also download the airport’s app. (Available for iOS and Android.)
