- The most crowded station during evening rush hour. Take a westbound train for a few stops if you want to get a seat going back to the east bay.Upvoted Mar 22
- The best thing about this is what is above which is the Ferry Building the embarcadero and great food not to mention great shops and fun things to do!!
- Always hold ur breath on Fremont St. escalator! Urine intensity level is always higher in the mornings. However, it still beats traffic on Bay Bridge and $27/day parking

- Boy RacerAugust 31, 2014If you like to pub crawl....just know that unlike paris, rome, londen or, NYC....this mass transit has no restrooms....plan appropriatly when escaping the city.
- Going to the East Bay during PM rush hour? Be prepared to wait for up to 3 or 4 trains to pass before there physically being enough space to board
- See if u can grab the morning paper from glen park and finish the kenken & sudoku by the time u reach embarcadero
- This is the first stop into SF... But it's also the last stop for all East Bay bound trains. It's a long ride back through the tunnel.

- SFBARTFebruary 8, 2012Ahoy! Transfer from BART to boat here - ferries depart for Vallejo, Alameda, Oakland, Larkspur and Sausalito.
- You can only add value to Clipper Cards on the outside of the turnstile to enter BART/Muni trains.
- It's super crazy today because of the giants game! Over 300 people :-/ trying to go to the east bay!

- Headed to City College (main campus)? Hop on Bart at Embarcadero Station and skip the traffic.

- It's a BART station, what is there to say about it?
- I know it's a crazy concept, but maybe try to let people OFF the train before you try to get ON.
- Why is at least one escalator perpetually broken?
- Be sure to insert card with the stripe facing you and on the right side... when using your credit/debit card to add cash to your ticket/Clipper cards.
