For newbies: this is a seat yourself scenario, walk up and order at the bar. Don't order your burgerwell done, and it's probably big enough for two. One of the best beer selections on the West Side.
This heavenly creation made with dry-aged beef, arugula, Gruyère cheese and a bacon-onion compote is like eating French onion soup. Word to the wise: Dont ask for ketchup here; they’ll laugh you away. Read more
The gourmet burger comes with blue cheese, arugula and bacon compote and the fries with aioli. We might object, except that our mouths are too full of potato-y goodness. Read more
Try House made pimentopubcheese with spiced crispy pork rinds, The office burger, with caramelized onion, bacon, gruyere, maytag blue cheese and arugula & Russian imperial stoutice cream sandwich

Best burger in LA? I won't contest that. The Office burger falls into the specialty burger category. The caramelized onions are a strong flavor. Fries are seasoned and served with Aioli.

Do what the internet says. Take seat, order at bar, go back to seat, food will be delivered to table, enjoy. Great burger (don't add or remove anything), tasty marrow. Garlic aioli for fries was good.
The food is good, the cocktails are delicious, beer selection is really awesome. Insufferably hipster, though. And *any* deviation or request off menu (including cocktails) will be summarily rejected.
Cheese plate goes excellent with their Panama Rum, and the current seasonal special of soft shell crabs is amazing! Go during the day, even on weekends, for a good seat!
Get the Office burger. And if you're as annoyed by the seating situation as I am, stop by at 8:45 or 9 on a weekday. Lively enough but you don't have to hover for a booth.
Not the most vegetarian-friendly, but there's generally a salad or two + fries + a special appetizer that works. But you come here for the large beer list. Much larger than the Santa Monica location.
I NEVER make complaints but this one takes the cake. Just asked for the burger w/o cheese cuz of my allergies & instead of kindly helping they referred to their food as Picassos artwork. Epic fail.
The signature burger at Father’s Office gets a lot of hype. But there is a reason why: It’s supremely flavorful, juicy, and delicious. Go eat it now at 3229 Helms Ave.

Great for hanging out with friends after work, but can get crowded. Expect highish end food at decent prices for the tastiness you get. Fries come with a tasty aioli. We always get some to eat with
Get the burger like everyone else says, but everything else on the menu is pretty damn good too. pick a favorite drink of choice and start socializing with friends or strangers if you like.
There's only one burger on the menu. It's a great one, but it's $12.50 (so-so fries are an extra $2.50). Don't ask for ketchup. Order at the bar. Seating is first come, first serve.
Get the burger! They don't allow you to add, remove or substitute anything (a little pretentious, especially if you're allergic to something), but it's fantastic.
Great selection of Belgian beer & tapas. Oh, and there sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy yet soft, with a side of awesome garlic aioli. Not bad...
Father's Office Burger. They also serve a really tasty treat from the Helms bakery called a Strawberry Cheesecake Ice cream pop. It's unique and not too sweet.
Awesome beer selection. Should have a sweet veggie burger, but they don't. Get the beet salad, mushrooms or Brussel sprouts. And be prepared to fight for space.
