The service is good like all MO's, the rooms are quality and comfortable, the food is excellent and it has a great gym. Having said all that there is something missing, perhaps it's the poor location.

I read that the Empress Lounge (lobby of Mandarin Oriental) has good jazz shows on Saturdays. I also read that the happy hour is weekdays from 5:30-7:30. Includes live entertainment. See link for Satu Read more

Service in the lower end restaurant (Sou'wester) is always slow. Expect dinner to take at least 2 hrs. Food was decent, though.
