- I love this airport. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, it is very well-designed and modern, flights generally always seem to be on time, and you can get a flight just about anywhere.Upvoted 1 week ago
- FLL, Great airport. Much easier in and out than MIA, less than an hour away. New terminals and upgrades. Domestic and international. Friendly employees.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Coming in on a red eye OR late at night? After you grab your luggage, come back upstairs & get picked up from departures. It's a ghost town around those times compared to how busy Arrivals is.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Fll is real specific about recycling. Bonus points if you can find a pizza place in terminal to dispose of said pizza box?Upvoted Mar 2
- Fast, free wifi and awesome mural. One of the best airports I've ben to.
- Dion BarelaJanuary 13, 2017People are friendly and the airport is organized. And Puerto Rican eye candy too.
- Recent renovations have served it well. Easy in and out. Central & less crowded than MIA appealing to Aventura to Boca travelers as well. Great for Jet Blue & Delta. Limited American itineraries.
- Vivian LiFebruary 10, 2018For some reason the G gates are MUCH nicer than E or F. More natural light and way less crowded. There are comfy chairs next to huge windows by Harvest & Grounds and Casavana
- Jeffrey-Ryan B.October 21, 2013Nice alternative to Miami without being too far from the city of Miami and sometimes half the cost of the ticket to Miami at times of the year
- Saturday & Sunday mornings/afternoons are when all the cruise ship passengers are here. Arrive early to make sure you get to your flight on time ✈
- Kapow! Noodle Bar coming soon to Mizner Park in Boca Raton!
- Corey JacksonSeptember 25, 2018It truly all depends on the atmosphere and that you want to be around the beach is amazing and being on the beach is amazing in Fort Lauderdale
- Princess PoetressApril 20, 2014Just know that this airport probably has the friendliest TSA agents known in the world! Very helpful. 1 negative...you will fight a war on the level of the epic 300 for an electric plug to charge up.
- Rodger DodgerMarch 13, 2018Rental Car Facility is right in the terminal - that is absolutely the best thing ever!! No shuttle bus to have to navigate!! LOVE IT!!
- it's an airport....and this is a post-911 world. arrive early, wear slip-on shoes, & get thru security the best and quickest way you know how. bothersome yes, but we all have to do it...SO DO IT!
- Best way to get between MIA-FLL-PBI is Tri-Rail train. Clean and safe, $4 depending on where you're going. Just beware of the shuttle schedules to get to the train station.
- Love this airport. Very easy to navigate. Southwest terminal has a great bar. Easy cheap parking. Security lines move quickly.
- Terminal 1 (Alaska Airlines and others) is connected to the rental car return. Very convenient. Much easier in and out here from any terminal than MIA if you have a choice when booking flights.
- This place CAN be a zoo but it’s modern and pretty nice. The airport is slowly building post-security connectors between the four terminals. Starbucks everywhere and lots of cheap flights
- Terminal 3 TSA is very strict in checkpoint area. Make sure you wait behind the sign when getting you ID and boarding pass checked. It's much like the post office and we see how well that worked out
- Newly renovated terminals, great food & shop options Less traffic stress access than Miami. Perfect for Jet Blue, Southwest & Delta travelers.
- Lisa T P performs her world famous poll dance every Friday and Saturday at Hoochies--not far from the airport. I won't give the surprise away but ping pong balls are involved. Bring lots of singles!
- Todd SMarch 10, 2018It was nice and small and has a lot of remodeling being done, at least in the United area, so it should be wonderful once completed.
- Slightly PerfectMarch 2, 2018This airport was bigger than I had anticipated. Nice, friendly staff and quick service. We had no trouble going through security.
- You just got to love 4 school zones and sudden road detours and golf cars driving in front of you when you are rushing to the airport.
- It's a great place to live! Call Dave Gervase, Keller Williams Realty. I have a real estate team that can handle any real estate need. Ask me about a career in real estate.
- Majed AlashariApril 12, 2020Nice airport with nice decorations. Rental cars area is connected to the airport so you don’t need a bus to take you offer to the terminals.
- Sometimes the Security is a breeze and other times it’s like a snail. But all in all it’s very easy to get around and staff are willing to help most of the time.
- Chad BuchananJanuary 23, 2014Go to the Food Network restaurant across from gate F4 and order the po boy. The best airport sandwich I've had. And they have Brooklyn Lager on tap.
- Easy access, for drop off and pick up. If you park here, get here early because it takes a while to find a spot. The airport check in goes smooth with TSA PRE-CHECK.
- I like everything about this airport but the busses. It makes no sense how it is laid out. You have to take a bus to rental cars which is right across the road. Can take 15 to 30 minutes.
- Keith ConverseNovember 4, 2015The rental car center is in the middle of the complex in the parking garages. If you're in Terminal 1 or 2, just walk. It's faster than the rental car shuttle.
- The Delta Terminal could stand an upgrade. Only a few electric outlets so make sure your phones are fully charged before you get here. The Deli place makes great sandwiches. There's also a Starbucks.
- Shayy CapriceNovember 9, 2016Can't get good food in terminal 1 at all terminal 4 has the best choices of food but you can't walk thru the different terminals there's nothing indoors to connect them to my knowledge
- The best way to go to Europe is Norwegian Air Shuttle. You can enjoy Boeing-787 Dreamliner experience and save money the same time coz that's low-cost carrier...!
- Free Wi-Fi which is always great in an airport. Terminals 3 & 4 will be connected after the construction is finished which will be awesome for everyone.
- Water bottle filling station is located between gates F4 and F6, accessible to both terminals 3 and 4 once through security
- The Delta terminal just underwent a renovation; so it’s really nice. The new Delta Sky Club is really nice and has some good food too.
- It’s often either cheaper or the same price to fly out of FLL vs Miami. It’s easier to manage and even has a Shake Shack in terminal 2.
- 1000th tip! For everyone complaining about Spirit, the complaints are true. Pretty shoddy service but that is the brand they set out to make w/their insane $50 carry on, 40 lb check in limit policies.
- Bob TallmanApril 15, 2014What a shit show. Come early because 80% of passengers aren't English as a first language so directions will be repeated four times, the TSA is, well the TSA so that'll cost you some time as well.
- Stephanie ShearNovember 14, 2014There are outlets to charge your phone under the bar at Kafe Kalik! Enjoy a Mojito and charge. Two birds one stone
- Kevin BDecember 25, 2013Picking someone up at Terminal 3 is a clusterfuck. Tell them to wait for you under a specific airport sign for another terminal so you don't have to fight traffic. 2 or 4 have to be better than 3.
- Ainee L.September 7, 2013closest airport to Boca Raton, FL. TSA mean business when it comes to checking your bag. ;) but it's all good they make me feel safer by knowing they take everything seriously.
- Frank CaramanicaNovember 6, 2019Hotel going through major renovations. I would stay away until renovation is complete. Hotel perfect for cruise people. They provide a shuttle at a minimum price.
- Despite all of the negative comments about Spirit. If you fly FLL<->BOS twice a month like I do, Spirit makes it affordable if you are a graduate student on a budget and don't mind delays sometimes.
- Alex BosworthMay 19, 2023Uber pickup location is pretty convenient, but not very well marked. It’s arrivals, go outside and to the right, pickups are on the right
- Malcom BenitesAugust 30, 2014Free WiFi and easy access through TSA. Everything is being updated and renovated with new bars and restaurants. Soon to be trendy.
- I travel a ton for work so I'm used to getting to the airport with just enough time to grad some water and board. At FLL you need to plan to arrive a little earlier.
- If you're taking the Tri-Rail head straight to the shuttle. There's one timed for each train so if you miss it you'll take quite a delay.
