What good is an electronic musician without electronics? This is where I got the laptop in my current live setup, several hard drives, and countless cables
Great selection and price. But know what you need because half the staff have no idea what's up. Asked 5 different people for help, only 1 gave me helpful advice and he didn't even work that dept.
You don't need to stop and show them receipt and what you bought. They can't do anything to you if you refuse. I just hold up my receipt and what I bought in my hands as I walk out.
Common sense tells u to research before u buy anything. You should never assume employees know what they're talking about. On that note, I've talked to.numerous employees who knew their stuff. Always
This is the last time I say this... I'm never going to frys again! No one there knows anything! Rather shop at best buy.... that's saying a lot right there!
Be sure to check competitor pricing and take advantage of their guarantee before you checkout. I just saved 22% by pointing out amazon.com had a lower price.
Don't bother asking for help. No one seems to know anything about any of the stuff they sell. Make sure you know EXACTLY what you want. Decent prices. Read more
Will Uhlig in the computer Dept is not customer service oriented, smug, and doesn't care if anyone buys anything. Part of the long term Fry's problem in Austin.
Wow, their customer service has gotten really bad!! So many employees working but they don't know anything about or its the super techy nerds working that have no people skills. Just go online & buy.
Be sure to the print on the entrance of the store..a Clear rep NOT a Fry's employee made sure to let it be known there is "no photography in Fry's stores"....what the hell?'
Fry's was founded as a Silicon Valley retail electronics store to provide a one-stop-shopping environment for the Hi-Tech Professional in 1985. Fry's Electronics will match internet prices in store! See this link for details. http://bit.ly/frysmatch
