Amazing experience. Beautiful old theatre. A complete must do in Milan. We went at 1pm and put our name down for cheap tickets and then came at 5pm to collect them. If you do the tickets are €13pp😁

Awesome place and awesome operas. Possible to get last minute tickets at the entrance, or to queue for one of the 140 12€ tickets sold for the higher gallery some afternoons. A bit long, but worth it!

Fun place to visit and tour or see an opera! Sometimes there are rehearsals during the day that can be seen if you are not planning to stay for an opera.

Everyone has its own free cloakroom. At the break you can ask for your ticket to be changed with any unsold ticket free of charge, just ask at the desk in the main foyer. The staff is very helpful.

What an experience! Outstanding performance:-) Perfect all through. The building itself is also worth a visit. Be smart when buying the tickets. The hotel packages are not a great deal. Friendly staff

By far the best place to see in Milan! Make sure to have a visit, to see inside the theater and if possible see a performance inside. It is really amazing!

Production value is world-class, as would be expected from one of the most renowned opera houses. DO NOT buy a 2nd row seat in a box unless you can stand and look over a shoulder for an entire show.

Museum is worth a visit, quite small but you get to see the view of the theatre from inside a box.

If you can get hold of, or afford, a ticket to La Scala, opera-lovers worldwide will hold you in higher esteem. La Scala has a massive stage, 2,015 seats and some of the best acoustics in the world.

Named after a woman who initially built a church in the same place. It which was demolished to create this beautiful theater. If you're lucky while touring, you'll see the performers during rehearsal!

Couldn't drop a tear on Tchaikovsky, it was too smooth. Where is the passion in the duet? He was happier in solo. This was like Russian sightseeing on MonteNap, not shopping. It didn't Crack my Nuts.
