Great day trip in Northern Italy. Beautiful to wonder round and mostly untouched by tourists, so a very authentic Italian experience.

Small and cosy Italian City. A lot of students and children in the center. Nice walks along the river. Train station is ok, bus station almost non existent.

Mantova's renaissance began in 1459 when a visiting Pope complained that the city was muddy, marshy and riddled with fever. This spurred Ludovico II to give the city a facelift.

Cittadina perfetta per una visita culturale e naturalistica di un giorno. Parcheggio gratuito "Canoe" appena fuori le mura, skyline da brivido e tanti posti suggestivi, p.zza Sordello in primis!
