This is a legitimately cool spot. Desirable but not pretentious and a plethora of goodies to satisfy your needs - coffee, tea, food, beer, wine, décor and chill people. This spot is T.O. approved.

Fantastic spot to grab a drink and quick bite to eat. Order from the counter + pay — they'll serve to your seat. Great concept for those on the go that still want a great sit-down meal!

Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon is my go-to every time. Pair that with sweet potato fries or a cup of some of the better gumbo in the city, and you've got yourself a meal.

Classic hangout and munch spot with Village feel. I miss the original from Carmine St where they used to do Dog Paw coffee art in the lattes, though. Staff always friendly.

Free refills... even to go! Just bring your mug to the counter and tell 'em you want a roadie. They'll give you a new coffee in a to-go cup.

This location felt like a rustic farmhouse. It's probably more of a location for friends rather than a date, but the food was delicious. I got the baja fish tacos which were cooked perfectly.

Egg wrap, eggs over easy, avocado, cheddar. No chips or potatoes, just a side of broccoli + a lot of spicy sauce! And the lovely Zazie to take your order! Heaven.

Great for breakfast, brunch, or a homey comfort-food meal any time. Gets crowded, but everything is delish and so it is worth the wait. Dog-friendly outside during warmer months.

Don't miss the seasonal menu. Buffalo turkey mini meatballs were on point! And the roasted vegetables were no slouches either. Really though you can't go wrong with any type of meatball here.

Great place for a business meeting. Noise level is just right, food is good but not too expensive, casual enough for a tshirt but I've been in a suit, too.

The Philly Cheesesteak wrap is delicious and super filling. The cheese is delightfully gooey and the sautéed onions are perfect. The fries are just okay.

Seat yourself at the Nolita offshoot of Grey Dog, where the burgers are divine and the fries are crisped to perfection. For brunch or happy hour, this unassuming coffee shop is loved by locals.

Loved the avocado & goat cheese sandwich! The celery was a little surprising but gave it a nice crunch. Sweet potato fries were delicious.

Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon was a great light lunch. I only wish that I didn't have to get a side -- fries or salad -- with it.

Grilled cheese with avocado and bacon has us thinking... when does a grilled cheese stop being a grilled cheese and start being a melt? Either way, we're stuffed!

Perfect for a trendy but casual night out. Gives you a little country feel in a big city. Tip: get the cobb salad with green goddess dressing instead of bleu cheese!

Get the breakfast quesadilla ANY TIME. One of the small set of breakfast items they make all day, but one is all you need when it's a frickin' breakfast quesadilla.

When getting a grilled cheese here, you need to pick both bread and cheese. It makes for a difficult order. I recommend olive bread and swiss cheese. And a soup, to boot.
