- Lee WalkerSeptember 20, 2013Very very touristy. Very nice place, better to see when driving along the coastal road. I would imagine seeing it from the sea, and the rest of the Amalfi coast, is the best way to do it
- LaurenAugust 24, 2017The most beautiful town on the Amalfi Coast! But don't make the mistake by coming here by car! Take the boat from solerno, stress free & the views from the sea are amazing 😉
- GeorgeJune 9, 2016Beautiful town. Difficult to park, but we used one of the parking places nearer the top (€4 per hour) and wandered into town from there. Expect everything to be quite expensive, but worth the trip
- Ada UbreziJuly 28, 2022Definitely a must visit but very touristy & busy in the peak season. 30 euros for a whole day bed at the beach was a bit too much, but the place is simply beautiful. Still recommend to visit.
- Cody GriggersMarch 19, 2015Lovely, but a little less "real" than Amalfi, Atrani, and other towns I actually enjoyed more, where people also seemed to live and work. Positano is almost entirely shops and restaurants.
- Emily K.June 3, 2017Lovely seaside town catering to tourists. Parking is a nightmare but if you must, use the one at the very bottom of the hill (same goes for your hotel, otherwise you're climbing for quite a while).
- Sas MontiDecember 7, 2016It's beautiful in November when there are hardly any tourists. The streets of Positano are not crowded and lucky to have weather in the high 60s warm for winter in Italy. 🇮🇹
- M. R.August 7, 2013Romantic scenery, clear waters, and a cosmopolitan air make Positano a favourite in the Amalfi Coast. Do note that the beaches here (and all beaches along the Amalfi coast) are slightly overrated.
- Lee WalkerSeptember 20, 2013Use the car park right at bottom of hill for €3.50 an hour. You'll know you're there as its the only stretch that is flat for a few meters before going back up the hill and out
- Lewis TSeptember 19, 2016Be prepared to go up and down a lot of stairs if you want to see the seafront. Beautiful from afar but slightly disappointed on arrival.
- Finding Our Feet BlogJune 8, 2016Beautiful. Long walk downhill with little ones from the parking to the centre - take water on way back up! Great pizza on the sea front (approx €8 each) and quintessentially Amalfi Coast. Very busy.
- František GélaAugust 5, 2017Beautiful town, nice colorful houses and little streets. And that was the problem because it was overcrowded. Prices quite touristic.
- Vasek S.March 19, 2018I can recommend park the car at the top, enjoy the amazing view and walking down to the center
- RazanFebruary 13, 2020Small town in Amalfi coast, reachable by boats or car. Took a taxi to get there. The view is amazing, the food is average.
- Cody GriggersMarch 19, 2015Very quiet in the off-season (came in March), where most things are closed. Amalfi, etc actually much more lively then.
- Ana TexJanuary 10, 2012Beautiful city to visit, go to Sorento and Capri once you are here! Best Weatern Pasitea is a good hotel!
- Léna Le RollandFebruary 16, 2017Pay for parking even in the winter otherwise you'll get a surprise on your car! City is cute but not our fave on the amalfi coast
- I Love Amalfi Coast | Amalfi Coast ReviewsMarch 21, 2012Enjoy Positano, its Limoncello and Albertissimo, an alcoholic tipple that can only be found at a small stall at the main harbour.
- Maria InfranziAugust 16, 2013If you want to eat well and cheaply go by CAPRICCI, on the right side of the beach.Impregnable fireworks on 15 August
- Shannon HoffmanOctober 26, 2014The view, the people, the zuppa! But buy your gifts in Rome. (Prices)
- Yuko MSeptember 27, 2013Its a pretty town but you will see everything within 1 hour. Just so you know.
- Juan Carlos GonzalezMay 9, 2012Order the Capresse Salad @ La Pérgola and Greco di Tufo White wine..... Excelente!!!
- If you have limited time to see our beautiful country ask Italy Rome Tour for your excursion to Positano
- Federica FranzoliniJuly 24, 2012Don't be afraid if the bus driver drives like Shumi..he doesn't want to kill you, they always drive so!enjoy this beautiful city ;)
- Luis ZambranoNovember 20, 2012Don't miss this place if you're around. Most restaurants/stores remain closed off-season so choose wisely when to come.
