The Corcoran GroupAugust 6, 2013Tucked away in DUMBO, this coffee shop created from a lofty warehouse space is worth the visit. Order the iced maple shay and a sweet doughnut from Dough for a complete breakfast (or dinner).

Tons of seating, chill Brooklyn vibe, and wifi. Try the Maple Shay Shay (worth the cavity it's going to give you).
Maybe the best coffee spot in NYC. Huge space, many chairs & tables, power outlets, comfy sofas, solid coffee, foodstuffs, friendly baristas. All the stuff to read, work, or disappear for a few hours.

Excellent spot to work in the morning with decent coffee, excellent wifi, ample window lit seating, great ambiance, and a short walk to the ferry later.
Coffee is AMAZING. When I come to NY, I stay in Brooklyn just for the place and the views. Lots of space to work from the coffee shop too!

Killer spot with Wi-Fi for lounging, working, or catching up with friends, old & new. They even roast their own beans.
The pastries are all lovely. The sandwiches have fed me well more times than I can easily count. And the coffee is just excellent. This is my go to spot.
This place keeps getting better and better. Great staff and lots of room. Their specialty coffee opened my eyes to rosemary and coffee! Now I can officially say I'll put Rosemary in anything.

Great for powering up to start your day. They've got lots of protein packed snacks for a day of walking. Ask to try their ultra flavorful natural processed coffee if they've got it in stock!
They recently opened up the whole space. Extremely interesting spot with the best coffee in NYC. Get a couple tins to enjoy at home and never need to go to Starbucks again.
Best coffee in NYC in my opinion. Ask the baristas for their opinions on the brews of the day and get a free lesson on coffee
Brooklyn UnitedMarch 6, 2012A welcome addition to Jay Street in the summer of 2011, these guys are our go-to coffee in the morning, afternoon, and night. Stop in, grab a cup, and even snag a seat if one is available.
Love the space (it's huge!), love the coffee, LOVE the blueberry muffins! I come here everyday - everyone that works here is extremely nice and welcoming!

They roast their coffee on location and know how to make a great brew. Must try if you love coffee. Plus the baristas are super-nice and know their shit. Good casual meeting place too.

My favorite coffee shop in all of NYC. Good, strong coffee, awesome space to work from, enough sockets, free wifi and superkind people.

They seem to source poor quality beans, and roasted sub-optimally, but this is still a reasonable option in DUMBO, especially with the baristas expertly doing the best they can with those beans.

Get a cannister of Bali Kintamani for home, it tastes like strawberries.
Staff is awesome and the music is (almost) always good. I definitely prefer the Iris espresso (smooth and nutty). I am here way too often!
