- MunYee CNovember 1, 2015Great chicken and pork satay. Egg custards. And also the popiah + fried popiah. Don't forget to order their ice coffee. Will always come back for the food again. Great cheap food!
- Richard FooJanuary 23, 2016Be prepared to wait for approximately one hour, but you will be rewarded with the best original Ipoh Kuey Teow, smooth poached Chicken and crunchy Taugeh. Try the Caramel Custard and Pork Satay too.
- Opus OneJanuary 2, 2016Get in line, and be ready to dig into a good collection of Ipoh culinary faves. The hor fun is al dente, the stock is rich in chicken and shrimp flavor, bean sprouts is plump and fresh; recommended.
- Cheen The CuriousMay 31, 2016I love the choice of drinks at Ipoh (& Penang) kopitiams (cafes). Besides kopi & teh, u hv barley, chinchow, soya milk, lime juice, & ambra/ampulla (ambarella juice). Most come with iced option
- ᴋᴍʏApril 28, 2018Among the pioneer Kai Si Hor Fun (Shredded Chicken Ipoh Kuey Teow) not too sweet soup, easy to chew chicken. RM6.50 s/bowl. Awesome satay!! Juicy marinations and quite tender texture.
- My favorite coffee shop. Chee Cheong Fun is so smooth slurrrrrrp, Pork Satay, Creme Caramel, Popiah, Rojak & Ipoh Hor Fun ofcos but be prepared to wait. Closed on Thurdays.
- lia liaDecember 19, 2015I love the signature baked egg dessert and must try the kueh tiaw soup with chicken slices.. The soup really awesome.. I must go back again when i dropby ipoh..
- Andre BoudvilleSeptember 23, 2014The custard pudding was really good. Didnt expect a local coffee shop to have a dessert like this..satay and hor fun noodle is good as well and not forgetting the poh piah:)
- 590 iamMay 27, 2016Finally got a chance to try the kai si hor fan...The taste is very good ,definitely a must try in Ipoh!!!😄👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 RM6 per bowl is a little but pricy compared to other food in Ipoh...
- William NgNovember 7, 2018A very touristy coffee shop since its location is just opposite concubine lane. Effort required to get a table. White Coffee is bad here. Kai si hor fun highly recommended.
- 590 iamMay 26, 2016Mad love the egg custard here~~~super yummy! Pork satay is a must try too...However,white coffee here is not impressive...Cham ice also👎🏻
- Kingsley YoungerNovember 29, 2014Their sliced chicken Ipoh Fun is made from soup of chicken and prawns. They extract the oil from the head and skin of the prawns and the oil goes into the soup. Not for those who don't take prawns!
- Chris LeeNovember 20, 2016Dan cha, one of the least people order dish but in fact it actually taste pretty good. Served in a piping hot bowl of tea. Expect to wait long queue for table and chicken koay teow soup
- Zo ShiyiFebruary 13, 2016Every time balik kampung must b go here. Caramel egg custard taste is awesome I try at Ipoh town so far! Pork satay is delicious! My mom said is made by their own.
- Thera Tan 🍦March 22, 2015For satay lover, here you go! Pork, chicken, intestines and pork liver are served! I like all choices especially the intestines 😍
- Jack KhoJuly 12, 2015Tried the chicken hor fun which is just expected with Ipoh quality. Crunchy bean sprouts, simple but tantalizing dishes of curry Mee and of course custard caramel. Delicious.
- Phoe BeezFebruary 13, 2018Egg Caramel custard. Must eat. So silky, so smooth.. it just slides down your throat with the slightly burnt caramel taste = 100%
- Honglim LimJune 1, 2016Frankly I think only the hor fun is excellent. The custard could have more egg content and the satay sauce can have more flavor, although both great too.
- Cheen The CuriousMay 31, 2016If u prefer alfresco dining, there's an alleyway outside the cafe with tables & chairs laid out. Comfy & cool
- Fran HGLOctober 18, 2016Nice old school Cofee Shop, Bzy mostly, food will take some time due to crowd, worst on weekends, ipoh beansprout chicken noodle, cream caramel, pork satay & white coffee my most cherished dishes here
- Lim SenDecember 14, 2016Pork Satay is nice and the sauce is supreme. Custard is a must try too. The Hor Fun is just nice with sweetness of prawn and smooth hor fun
- Jennifer HardiSeptember 2, 2014Everything is delicious here!! Go for the Chee Cheong Fun, sotong with kangkong, egg custard caramel and curry Mee!!
- AiChing SanFebruary 9, 2016Go on and order everything. You can order food from next door and eat it in Thean Chun. Beware of the notorious long wait for hor fun if you pop in at the wrong time.
- Christian AngJanuary 9, 2016The pork satay is good, different from i taste before, pork intestine is good too. The custard is sooo sweet. Other food (noodle and koey teow open 9.30)
- Katherine NgSeptember 21, 2014The egg custard is good, you need to go to the back to order it or from the drinks lady. the tricycle stall has good hor fun bc of its broth. Satay is good. people here are rude cept for drinks lady.
- Chew ElaineJuly 30, 2017Must try their Caramel custard and Ipoh white coffee !! Remember to come early .. while stock last
- Valentino ChooDecember 13, 2012As rude as they may appear, those people from the Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun stall are actually very nice people. Speak politely and ask how long would the wait be, as it might take AT LEAST 30-45 minutes!
- Valentino ChooDecember 13, 2012Do try out the Egg Custard! Completely different from what we always find in Kuala Lumpur. Supposed to be my dessert, but became my starter instead while waiting for my Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun!
- Sweetie HunnyMay 10, 2015The caramel custard pudding here will be telling you how heavenly delicious taste like with the price of RM2.60 😊
- Say Wei XianDecember 24, 2016Really smooth kai si horfun. I generally don't really like bean sprouts but the one here is amazing 😍

- Benedict KhooJanuary 1, 2014Very excellent.... One of the delicious Kai Si Hor Fun that I had in Malaysia.
- Shawn LeeApril 24, 2017Chicken hor fun is the best here and custard, but please do not order the bean sprout as it cost rm8 per plate. Ridiculous
- John KanDecember 13, 2014This is good and it costs only rm2. You can't find this at such a cheap price in KL 😢
- KTJanuary 7, 2018Service is slowww hence the long queue. But no doubt the sa hor fun is the best I’ve tried so far in Ipoh
- Valentino ChooDecember 13, 2012Satay is served rather differently than the usual, where you order what you want. Most of the time, the owner would distribute an array of Satays to the table, and you shall pay only for what you eat!
- Cyndi ChowJanuary 16, 2015Satay is served, then remaining is recycled. So are the cucumbers and the peanut sauce you dipped your satay into. Bon apetit!
- Connie LamJune 15, 2015Custard egg pudding (RM 2.60). It tastes awesome when you eat it in BIG BITE.
- Queenie QuenDecember 6, 2015The egg tart uncle and aunty very nice… and the tart yummy as well… i also like the white coffee
