- Meredith BlechmanMarch 25, 2016Hidden underneath an apartment complex in little Italy, their outdoor back patio is the perfect happy hour location when the weather is nice. The Linda Lovelace cocktail was delicious.
- Alexandra PrevidiDecember 31, 2015One of the best options in the neighborhood for a good drink away from tourists. I always do the bartender's choice bespoke cocktail. Lovely little outdoor area in back that very few people know of.
- Monet SpellsMay 16, 2014Definitely go for the bespoke, and the bartender will make a custom drink with the alcohol and vibe (fruity, spicy, aromatic, etc) of your choice! Cute outdoor area for a cocktail under the stars!
- Kirill FuchsApril 28, 2017It's below 149 mulberry St. Look for the staircase leading down to a purple light. The place is larger then most speakeasys making it great for groups.
- Try their Bespoke Cocktails. Fantastic concoctions. Pick your alcohol & how you'd like it served (Shaken, Stirred, Refreshing, Aromatic, Savory, Sweet, Sour, Spiced, Light, or Alcohol Driven).
- Untapped CitiesNovember 12, 2015Amid all the bright lights and neon signs of the old school joints in Little Italy, you have to be looking pretty hard for the unmarked red door with a little red light that serves as the entrance. Read more
- Natalie VJuly 13, 2016Neat little speakeasy that basically is bartenders choice menu. Just say the base liquor you like and flavors you prefer and they mix up something awesome. Also has a nice outdoor space, but small
- JasonOctober 26, 2014Look for the pink light and staircase downstairs to find this Speakeasy. Known for their make your own cocktails, aka bartenders choice, there's a dance crowd but also a nice backyard.
- Ben MartinDecember 3, 2012Bartenders here are like genies with the bottles. Top-of-the-line, ridiculously awesome craft cocktails. You tell the bartender what flavors and liquor you want, and he makes it so, just for you. A+
- Philip ChangDecember 27, 2015Instead of two turntables and a microphone, Beck could have sang about your choice of two flavors and a liquor, and had himself a hit song about the drinks at a speakeasy nestled beneath Little Italy.
- Bradley KayFebruary 19, 2017Very tucked away, but too well-known to drop in. Ideal on a gorgeous weekday when you can take over a backyard table and order food. Waits are excessive on weekends. Terrific drinks.
- Don't order from the menu. Let the bartender make you a concoction based on your liquor preference, it's a delicious surprise with such fresh ingredients-- lots of fruits and herbs
- Emily WilsonMarch 26, 2016A nice outdoor space, but the cocktails are weak, which sucks when you're paying $12-15 bucks for them. I had two and felt nothing.
- Joanne ReinardMarch 1, 2016Create your own cocktail by the ingredients listed on the wall. Waiters are super friendly, nice atmosphere but the place is packed quickly. One of the nicest speakeasy I've been to!
- Owen HerterichAugust 28, 2016Pretty trendy but low-key cocktail bar. No menu, you basically throw a type of liquor and some adjectives to the bartender and see what he comes up with. Also has a nice backyard.
- Jason ChuangAugust 9, 2014Check out their speakeasy within a speakeasy. La Isla Escondida will only be open during the summer. If it's like their last popup 1919 it'll definitely be worth it.
- Jesse LaneMay 19, 2016Great bespoke cocktails and knowledgable staff. Warning, if you sit out back, it may take a while to get your order
- Tabi YooAugust 19, 2016Great outdoor space. Wish the drinks were a bit stronger, but they're super tasty (i.e. the Jenna Jameson with blackberries). Food is not top notch (i.e. the burger)
- tiff pangJuly 10, 2015Build your own cocktail or choose from a list that are named after porn stars. Patio in the back is really pretty ! Great ambience
- Jessica WickhamDecember 8, 2017At last! I managed to find this place when open! And was treated to a bespoke drink made based on my favourite things. Great knowledgeable bar staff
- schneidermike schneidermikeMay 2, 2015The ice creams are all artisan. Unique, gutsy and interesting flavors. Try the Sichuan chocolate
- SuleeMay 11, 2013Mango muddled bevvy was soo delicious. But be prepared to be ignored for about 20-30 minutes before anyone looks up to make you a drink!
- The Corcoran GroupJuly 22, 2011This hidden treat takes an innovative approach to its drink menu – it doesn’t have one. Instead, you choose from a list of ingredients and the bartender mixes you an original concoction. Be adventurou
- @JaumePrimeroNovember 26, 2011great spot for an early drink, as it is a very small space and the later it gets the less space avalaible. One of the few great speakeasies in NYC with mind blowing food to match.
- Stephanie ZhongOctober 29, 2014Great after-dinner spot in the neighborhood. Good cocktails, friendly bardtenders, fun vibes (and it could get a little crowded later in the night)
- Grace YoonJuly 2, 2017Great vibe, top quality service, food and drinks. Highly recommend truffle fries and coconut cocktail
- SaraApril 18, 2015The egg is phenomenal. Sliders were good and the drinks, of course, were quite delicious as well.
- Princess Abigail BacaniJanuary 23, 2013Accessible via a subterranean door beneath a Little Italy souvenier shop. It's part club, part restaurant, and home to a weekend brunch that rages well into the early evening.
- jessica m. hintermeisterJuly 24, 2012Champagne Pina Colada: White Rum, Spiced Rum, Vanilla-infused Coconut Water, Grape Juice, Pineapple Juice, Lime Simple Syrup, and Moet Champagne
- Jason SchulweisJuly 20, 2014Great cocktails (and some very different/unique ones) in Little Italy. Hit up the outdoor garden in back on a nice night!
- Nicolette RomeroSeptember 2, 2015Don't blink when you walk by - you'll miss the door! Love the back patio. One of the best calamari apps I've ever had.
- Sonny ByrdJanuary 31, 2014Suggestions: jalapeño, ginger, tequila base, or a whiskey, egg white, apple base. These were a couple of the best drinks I've ever had. Food sucks though beware.
- Get a table in the back garden. The truffle fries are amazing, and get the spicy gin drink (try it with cucumbers or fruit), you won't be disappointed
- Patrick BaskinMarch 7, 2016Cocktails are great! Just make sure you're clear what you like and don't like when ordering...food looks tasty from Aunt Jakes
- Eugene LeeJuly 4, 2013Farm to bar cocktails... Pick from massive list of fruits and veggies and they customize the cocktail... Wuuhhhh???
- Ana Marie 💃March 17, 2015Tacos and delicious cocktails! Patio is great, overall, a fun speakeasy in one of my favorite areas of ny.
- Nina NiremaFebruary 19, 2013Pick a type of alcohol and let them take it away from there. You will not be disappointed. Also great atmosphere - such a cozy, warm spot.
- Sneaky great backyard outdoor space. Sneak in and sneak to the outside. You'll definitely have a great time.
- caroline chambersFebruary 8, 2012I asked for sweet and spicy and was delivered a delicious blackberry+jalapeño cocktail. Great drinks, it was pretty empty when I was there at 9 on a Wednesday.
- Kelsey LeeJune 22, 2014Hidden gem where every drink is customized for you. Just tell the bartenders what you like, and let them work their magic.
- Awesome bartenders who make your personal concoction from your preference of liquor and/or fruit base. Outdoor patio in the back has twinkling lights for the perfect summer night hangout.
- BettyJanuary 15, 2014A chill , low-key place to go for any occasion. The food + drinks were amazing. I will definitely make several more trips there.
- EnderJune 2, 2014Great concept. Let the barman prepares you a tremendous coctail after you pick what taste you like from the menu!
- Katrina DonnellyFebruary 9, 2017The mixologists can make pretty much any drink you want, even if you only describe flavors. So delicious!
- Jessica DuranJuly 7, 2013Outside patio was delightful and the cocktails were fantastic! Be prepared for SPICY when you order spicy...delicious and fun!
- Graham LindnerJuly 17, 2015Would not call it a speakeasy, but the atmosphere is good and the cocktails are legit! Back patio is a must.
- AskMenMay 13, 2011We're back for the opening of their patio + garden, 900 square-feet & 50 seats of outdoor casual. Dont to try something off their brand new menu of frozen cocktails.
- BonnieJuly 14, 2013Came here 12am Saturday. Walked into a sweaty room with striped shirts dancing on couches and ordering basic well drinks. Might come back on a weekday for a cocktail on the patio.
