- Pedro GaudêncioOctober 17, 2015Nice quiet spot to rest and sleep on a long layover: gate P, walk to the Burger King, go down the escalator and right under it (next to the big tv screen) there are 3 long benches. Have a good nap. :)Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Simple DiscoveriesAugust 26, 2016Clean, modern, & efficient. Easily access the city with the rail link or if looking for budget, the Air Asia bus for 11 Ringgit a person is your best option.Upvoted Mar 10
- Easily amongst the best Airport in South East Asia apart from Singapore Changi Airport. A true shopping mall in an airport but with lots of people dragging their luggageUpvoted Mar 14
- Gabriel CDecember 8, 2017There's a restaurant called The Living Room on the ground floor of the international departures area (Gates P&Q I believe) that has universal plugs at almost all the seats.Upvoted 1 week ago
- Agustinus PurwadiyantoJanuary 9, 2018What's good ? Hmmm not sure , but what's different and not too modern ... is the building and the Human Resources, low cost material design interior isles all details ... just simple stuffs.
- Do come early, like 3 hours before check-in time because this airport is huuuge and from one point to another needs a good walking time. Airport buggy are available to help if you're lucky!
- Spacious and comfortable airport. A lot of restaurants to choose. Can found few Starbucks branches here. Baggage claim deliver on time, but the font size is too small in LCD for baggage deliver info.
- I'm so in love with the new home of KLIA2! Get early check in boarding pass & luggage, its need an extra time to go around airport hall for a shops & meals coffee cafe before gate off to fly! :)
- if youre taking an early morning flight, and hungry, go to nasi kandar at 2nd floor and eat le fried kuayteow. not that expensive rm7.40 comes with fried egg kinda delicious.teh tarik is around rm3.30
- Becca OrangeDecember 6, 2017Menara Medical Clinic is next to the international arrival hall, doctor is efficient and charges are reasonable; after consultation, i got oral salt, antibiotics and painkiller; all for RM57 only.
- JC BalagtasOctober 15, 2018Very accommodating people, make sure you have enough time for your next connecting flight if you’re flight is coming from KLIA2 to KLIA1. Takes 30-40 minutes ride by bus.
- Very huge airport so be early for your flight as the international departure hall is quite a distance. It feels like a shopping mall rather than an airport. Hardly can catch your flight if ur late.
- Alvin LiOctober 8, 2018Pack light, self e-check in. The first checks after entering immigration is just for show. The real checks happen before the departure gates, almost TSA-level of security, so prepare well before then.
- Plenty of shopping options, and plenty of eateries and cafés to choose from before and after check-in.
- All are good here. Many shops available. A big BUT that they have to keep the toilets clean!
- Big!Nice layout.Far to walk from entrance to last gate.Plenty of foods & stores.Good outdoor view!Well planned floor plan.4 Starbucks outlet.
- Nanisah MohamadOctober 4, 2018It’s also a shopping spot for a shopaholic as the number of shop keeping increasing this year. It’s also a good place to hangout. Not only when you’re flying. It’s crowded most of the time.
- manu prasadOctober 30, 2014Superb upgrade from LCCT. Fantastic views, free wifi, and a whole lot of eating options. Make sure you leave enough time to walk, especially for international departures!
- Vincent KokJune 18, 2014be ready to be spoilt with a wide variety of food outlet and retails here, its a shopping mall in a way, with hiked up price of course. And gotta love the free WIFI.
- Baby DiverFebruary 12, 2020This airport is big and has a good mixture of shopping & dining before you enter check-in area.Learn to use self check-in machine or go to the counter. Check out Capsule Transit if you’re on transit
- Getaway at KLIA2 was a brilliant idea. You can spend hours here just shopping. Lots of nice outlets. Lots of good food too. Just be prepared to have a long walk from arrival hall to the outside :)
- Reezwan GhantyMarch 31, 2015New and clean without any big crowd and long queues but wow, the walking distance to the gates are too tiring! Consider at least 1hr walking time to get to gates numbered >10!
- A big upgrade compared to the old LCCT. It’s a very long airport so make sure u get here early to get to your gate. Oh... and wear comfy shoes !
- This is the great place for you to move your lazy ass and work out, walk. Why still complaining distance for the gate?Rethink about your body fitness. Those wheelchair bound. Freaking user friendly.
- A breath of fresh air compare to the old LCCT. Nice mall, ample place to eat and they have a grocery market too. The terminal reminds me of Adelaide Airport.
- Be sure to arrive early for your flight! Extra early! It's like a good place for cardio. :)
- Yash AgarwalMay 22, 2019WING J; no airline lounge. Around gate J22, the map says restaurant , but it’s free Internet cafe. (2) Between J7 and J9, there are also baby trolleys (3) Best place to hang out in J wing is Bakery
- KLIA2 designed by the late Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa. The abstract symbolic architecture encompasses the Islamic geometry and cutting edge technology with the tropical rainforest in mind.
- 2nd main airport terminal in Malaysia. Well maintain. Great design. Affordable food choices. Also a shopping attraction for the local and international visitors.
- 6months since inlast touchdown here and they have new prayer room at domestic gate waiting area 👍🏻 x payah nak bersempit sgt
- Aidu FSeptember 25, 2014Spacious & is an excellent improved airport than the LCCT in terms of places to eat&shops for last minute shopping. Gates can be far so plan well & don't get too distracted
- Ninaa ZaidiJune 4, 2014There is a lot of food restaurants here. I suggest you to eat before you get into the waiting hall. There is not much shop when you enter the waiting hall ^^ Hope this helps! Safe flight everyone :)
- 2 parts, which is the real airport, & the other one is Getaway @ Klia2 which is a shopping mall. Fast Wifi. Can shop first before your flight. But do come early as it's a bit confusing as it's rly big
- Very nice new airport. Much better than the LCCT. Has direct bus and train from KL sentral at affordable prices. Great food and shopping variety. A bit of a walk to the gates.
- Athirah AzharOctober 11, 2014Coming here early is a must or you'll miss the flight. For the first time dealing with AA, the staffs are friendly and I feel welcomed.
- If you are lucky, takes about one hour to clear immigration, get your bags, customs and hop into one taxi. Helps if you use Malaysian passport with the autogate. And walk non stop!!
- After the second security check before entering the gate area there are plenty of water dispenser. Make sure you have an empty bottle with you.
- Comfortable, secure, quite huge, needs a lot of walking. Do come early for your flight and shop. 👍
- Relax, clean and quiet. Went in all the way to L20. Choose a corner. Read a book. Bring your own 3in 1 coffee packet and container. Unlimited hot water supply
- Try to be early even if it’s a domestic flight as it’s a big airport...customs/full body scanners can be lengthy at times...not forgetting the walkway towards your boarding gate can be a long one.
- Fariza JoeMay 11, 2014This place is huge! But dont worry, you can always see people holding the "ASK ME" sign everywhere. Good initiative from the airport staffs!
- Very good layout. Lots of places to eat and shop. Good connectivity to the city via the KLIA Express. The duty Free shops inside have very good rates too.
- There is a shopping mall and food court. Be warned that the departure gate is far therefore do allocate time for walking if you are shopping or eating.
- Plenty of restaurants, fast food & retailers for shopping. Good to explore the whole terminal & have a nice cup of coffee & people watching before boarding.
- The new terminal is quite comfortable and clean, big distances are good for you health! The only negative I see is lack of quality f&b options, 6+ months after opening. Only junk food past the securit
- There is a security check at gates, so you may bring only specially sealed water there. Ask for seal when buying water at the airport.
- Big airport. Lots of shopping including supermarket. Lots to eat. Gates are far so check-in early especially for international departures. Can take KLIA Express train to/from KL Sentral for RM35/way.
- Misplaced something important (prescription medicine) while eating in the international departures food court. Cleaning staff didn’t speak Malay nor English. Lost & found didn’t answer the phone!
- This is a massive airport. Long walking distance; especially if you are on AiAsia X flights. Pre-book meals & baggage and come early! Oh and grab the Hot Seats: cross the aerobridge onto ur seat :)
- 1st time@KLIA2massive structure compared to LCCT; Tonnes of ppl means long queues combined with too many shops means d actual boarding gates R not a short distance-so B early, wear comfortable shoes
