- HannahJune 20, 2016A line up of hawkers stalls along east coast beach. We always go there on weekends for our favorite salted egg crabs & Bbq stingray
- YDecember 25, 2014Delicious fresh seafood and a nice view overlooking the ocean. Not very expensive and not too touristy either. Grab a cab from the city -- would be around 20 SGD give or take.
- Joey LimFebruary 11, 2016One of the not too touristy places to have good local flare like Satay, bbq seafood and chicken wings. Plus you get to take a lovely stroll by the beach after your meal.
- Fried Hokkien Mee shootout. Sampled A) Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle #01-21, & B) Geylang 29 Fried Hokkien Mee #01-32. Dish from B had more 'wok hei' (smokiness) & chilli more complex & flavourful
- Rojak. We were hungry. Rojak dish from East Coast Rojak #01-20 were gobbled up in minutes. Century egg added a unique dimension. Toasted cuttlefish were crispy & aromatic👍🏼
- Kars AlfrinkAugust 20, 2016Delightful setting for a hawker center. I was here for a weekday lunch and it was quiet. I'm sure dinners and weekends are a different story. Check out Roxy (#01-48) for an interesting take on laksa.
- Shannon LowJanuary 5, 2020The geylang lorong 29 fried hokkien mee is very good. Slightly wet, rich flavour. Popiah a few stalls to the left is also good. Get the young Thai coconuts too. Sweet and tender flesh. Laksa is ok.
- Tom HalleranMarch 23, 2015My favorite hawker centre. Large, crowded but not cramped, great selection, many stalls open late. And some great carrot cake, satay, stingray, and other standby dishes.
- Stall 11's Lala uses chilli crab sauce - spicy and tasty. Stingray's chilli was super spicy and nice too. Seafood egg - prawn and sotong are huge and fresh. Kangkong is not bad too.
- AdleyOctober 9, 2015Well try some fish or sea food! Also try satay! It is next to the sea, nice place but really horribly far from the city, took us ages to get there! Once enought!
- John LeeApril 28, 2014Located next to the East Coast Beach, this is one of the best outdoor food centers: serving Chinese, Malay, Indian hawkers food.
- Chillax weekday late night dinner spot after work appt at East Coast. Matching BBQ Chicken Wings with Porridge & Egg ordered from the most inside food stalls & carried to the seats facing sea ;-)
- Braised Pork Trotters with tender meat & appropriate texture of collagen. Yumz, no wonder so popular among the weekdays lunch crowd @ Han's Bak Kut Teh stall.
- Wantan noodles. Hwa Kee #01-45 is a popular stall. Excessive serving of 'char siew' (BBQ pork) overwhelmed the plate with sweetness. Wantans themselves were forgettable
- One of the best Hawker Centers in Singapore. Prices are excellent, selection excellent. Clean and safe. Food is Wonderful♥♥♥
- Peter SasiApril 2, 2016You MUST try the mutton and duck satay exact at this booth! Amazing how tasty peanut sauce included!
- Supper by the breezy seaside: Satay, BBQ Chicken Wings, La La, Coconut Drink & Muar Sugar Cane Juice; but still very crowded during late night on Saturday.
- Celes 思凯拉June 1, 2013Looking for stingray, sotong, etc? Mei Qi cuttlefish kangkang bbq seafood will not disappoint u. It's d best in food village!!
- M. Silver AssociatesMarch 27, 2012One of the first street foods in Singapore. Satay consists of marinated skewers of meat, grilled and served with a peanut sauce. Order10 at a time, you won't be able to eat just one.
- Must try the BBQ food @ StingRay unit number 43 very nice. The StingRay is nice with or without chilli. Thumbs up
- Fried oyster omelette. Crispy rendition from Fried Oyster #01-21. Chilli dip could be punchier
- LukaSHOctober 26, 2015Just walk around and choose wisely. You can't miss at any od the Satay stalls. Delicious!
- Stanley 辉October 28, 2011BAK KUT TEH at Stall no.42 serves tender bak kut the pork ribs and trotter. Food that are tasty, usually comes with high cholesterol. If you are not so health concious, you may want to try some.
- Effective quick chill-out by the seaside under the trees after lunch on a peaceful weekday noon, before going back to work (^_^)
- Lionel LimNovember 6, 2022The hawker centre can be quite crowded on a weekend night. Some of the tables may also leave you exposed to the elements.
- A pain to get to , but really awesome food. Try the popiah stall near the ATM , the chicken wing stall near the main entrance, and the satay from pretty much any of the stalls.
- Fishball noodles: 1 of our fave is stall #01-08 East Coast Lagoon Fishball Noodle. Bouncy fishballs! But depending on ur luck, mee kia/pok can sometimes come overcooked
- Shupei YapJune 5, 2016Lagoon stall 40 POPIAH, Haron's lamb SATAY : good. Roxy laksa nice soup but measly toppings, half prawn and sliced fish cakes only.
- Stall #5 serves nice creyfish and of course famous chilli crab.
- Martina MaitanAugust 15, 2014Cheap and well made laksa (5.5$) - stall close to the satay's grills on the left
- Stall #5 serves nice creyfish and of course famous chilli crab
- Christine HaJuly 11, 2017Hawker food! Sting ray in banana leaf, chicken wings, satay, oyster pancake, carrot cake 👍🏼. 🍗
- Satay from Rex Power is highly recommended. Esp the mutton satay. Also cuttlefish kangkong from Lagoon Satay Beehoon stall.
- SassyMama WatiJune 30, 2012My favourite stall for satay n chken wings will be stall no 55.Simply luv d rich peanut sauce n its juicy satay...
- Rojak with century egg. Yum yum. Stall 09...... Wings at stall 14 superb, next to it fried oyster and next to it satay bihun also super tasty
- Forever crowded. Would really appreciate if the "vultures" waiting for a table would be more polite and not be so vulture-like - really spoils the appetite of those eating.
- Joseph WTMay 4, 2013Stall 42 teddy bear's satay is very good!! If you want pork and chicken satay, try stall 42.
- Stall 36 has the most irritating old man ever. Do not sit near there if you want peace during yr meal. Or you can buy from him since he said you will strike 4D first prize tmr aft eating. Lol
- Kerk NicoJuly 3, 2018Recently this fried kway teow stall no. 21 change of chef.delicious food served.must try!
- The place just open after another renovation, if you want to eat satay and other local delicacies, this is the place.
- Haron satay e most powerfull delicious BBQ chicken they have it here... The chilli is sooo spicy e satay is nice too
- Always order from stall 38 BBQ seafood. Oyster omelette, sambal stingray, sambal kangkong. To name a few. Not bad.
- Satay at one of the stalls was really good! Look out for the really big-sized uncle with his teenaged guy helpers :D
