There's a lot of people that make carpooling from Aeroporto to Lyon and you pay less then the train Rhine express... You can pay from 4€ until 8€... ÜmitNovember 19, 2014Nice airport! Free bus to car rental office like Avis, Europecar, Sixt etc. Also you can find many buses to reach somewhere in Lyon. Enjoy!
T2: If you've got a Star Alliance Gold on your boarding pass, you can use the fast lane to the right of security. Just scan your boarding card at the gates. Then turn right after security to Solano

Okan D.February 14, 2017Terminal construction needs to be done as soon as possible. If you fly with transavia, pegasus, easyjet or airarabia you will walk around 20 mins from train station.
Small selection of restaurants in T3 as it's being renovated. bit of a trek from bag drop to the actual gate. Take the Rhone Express into central Lyon, quick, easy and can purchase tickets online.

Apparently, if an airplane is schedule to arrive before 11pm but runs late, you'll have a Rhónexpress at 00h30 and 01h00.

LYS and TGV Station (directly 'Gare de Lyon' from Paris) Food: I recommend OL Club ;) restaurant
Wifi: it says it is free for 15 minutes but I have been able to connect several times in a row... So free wifi w/o limits... Enjoy!

Glyn PovahJuly 3, 2011If you're bringing your bike they don't allow gas cartridges to be checked in here. Different rules apply at other French airports or they just make up the rules as they go along (most likely)- Power sockets available at Gates P15-P18 by the vending machines at the very end
Nu AgesNovember 8, 2013Bought a ouigo ticket from Marseille with only 10eu and now to go to the center Lyon it takes me 12eu. Great call Lyon!- Take the red tram (RhôneExpress) to be in the center of Lyon in less than 30 minutes. Prices around 20€.
Leave plenty of time for security at the airport, tends to move pretty slowly at the best of times.

Brioche doree: breakfast menu: 4.90 euros. Take the things apart: 4.10 euros. Somebody can explain?
Tao WuJanuary 4, 2019All car rentals are located outside the airport, you have to take the shuttle bus. Kinda stupid, but this is France.- Gates 21N-Q power socket just after passport control on the left by a row of seats. Also a few more behind seats in front of toilet block. No shops after passport control.

Check out Bar le Bec upstairs in Terminal 1- much the best place to hang out. Full of English people though ; )
