Thomas GirardOctober 3, 2018Acceptable airport. A military airport in part, it’s furnished nicely for both domestic and international travellers. I ate some roti before checking in and am having a pleasant experience.
I brought phone in with me by mistake. The security really helped me out getting a fresh boarding pass etc. Big props to the security!
There's a new food counter called MicMac just outside the lounge area. Good sandwiches
flight or no flight, this is the only place you'll find food outside a hotel 24hrs legally. the dhaba style restaurant's called jeeto's. post mid-night chai ftw. and the biryani too!Upvoted Feb 23
One of the few options when you want a late night / early morning snack . Quite expensive but the food is decent . My favorites are Chicken Noodles and fried rice . Cigarettes are also available here.
Frank ForsterApril 12, 2013Make sure to bring a print out of your itinerary with your name on to get access to airport. Also, make sure the security check point stamps your airline bag tags for carry on language.
They have a food court now with street food by Punjab grill, bakers street, subway , KFC and a bar

Manodnya SapreOctober 16, 2015One of the very airports in Maharashtra where most of the airlines have marathi speaking ground staff at check-in counters. Its Pune afterall!!- The departure gate has changed again, the new gate is between the original departure gate & the arrival gate.
Everything in the Chicago crust shop is over priced..100 bucks for machine coffee is a lil too much!

It’s the most drab airport in the world. So don’t be in a rush to come early.
It’s quite a simple hotel. The moment you come out there is a snack shop. Govt. Taxi are right outside the gate.
- The most annoying thing here is that Announcement or Paging is sooo LOUD !
Unique airport in world for operating commercial and army aviation on one airstrip.
The city is very close by around 25 min, nothing mch to do at airport though. The route via vimannagar has good shopping and hangout places.- Udit EkanshNovember 8, 2021Be sure to double check everything. The information displayed on monitors here is usually not as reliable as one would expect.
The only thing i like about the airport is the book shop. Always manage to find some unusual reads there.

shan shahJune 2, 2013Its a small airport. Check in and security is quick. There's almost nothing to eat and no shopping inside!
Tiny airport, usually empty except 5-7 am. No internet yet, and don't take photographs!
Don't book a prepaid taxi, they charge the double of what the actual fare is. I would suggest to go for cab services like OLA or taxi4sure. Reliable and better taxi's..

A very small airport compared to the traffic it get . over crowded check in counters no place to sit horrific restrooms worst ever motivated check in staff .This place is not diff than the Bus termina
This is one of the smallest airport in India. Perhaps due to Mumbai shadow. The airport is under premises of air force. Considering the amount of people here and the IT Industry, it's too small.
Great improvement on Pune airport over last few years .. keep it up Maharashtra Government
The cafeteria is not so good cant even serve French fries but then there very little choice except the stalls which snacks and coffee
Chiken roll bit over priced but good quality and fresh
- WiFi not working and also the lan cables not working Overprized sandwiches and basicly everything too expencive ,this airport need an upgrade in public service urgently
Praveen S.KhanJanuary 27, 2013Not a good airport to fly. Better Go to Mumbai and catch a flight. Toilets are not so good. No smoking room. AAI has closed the facility. Shops are not so friendly in terms of price and service.
