- LufthansaNovember 5, 2012When you are in Ho-Chi-Minh you should have really good local food in the Cuc Gach Quan Restaurant. Ethnic design, Vietnamese food – using the typical ingredients such as water spinach and eggplants.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Thann SanctuaryJune 19, 2016Best to eat before you arrive the airport. There isn't much inside the departure hall. Everything is significantly more here. If you want to eat, try Big Bowl. It's pretty tasty. Beef Pho for USD $5Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Se7enthAngelJuly 29, 2016Newest: Airport shuttle bus at 40,000 VND per pax. Dropped us right on the hotel's doorstep in D1 near Ben Thanh. Clean, courteous driver with free wifi. Locate them: exit terminal and turn right.Upvoted 4 days ago
- Stephanie TehMarch 31, 2016Eat before you come to the airport or bring a bahn mi through to eat at the boarding gates! Everything is expensive at airports! Come ahead of time, the immigration queues can take forever. Free wifi!Upvoted Mar 26

- LeleNovember 26, 2018Such a missed opportunity at the visa on arrival area - the space could have posters or videos to share messages about tourism, sustainability, investment, vision, etc., to visitors.
- If you don't have any local currency on you, take a VINASUN taxi. They accept cards and the drivers are usually nice chaps (+ they are not ripoffs like many other touts around the airport)
- From the domestic terminal, walk towards the international terminal (pillar no. 9-14) You can take a bus to city center, but have to wait for so long 30-45mins becoz of covid, bus station so desertedUpvoted Feb 13

- If you are hungry make sure you take your meal at the burger king located outside the arrival Hall. You will appreciate it when you see the prices in the transit area after you checked in!
- Bas 🌀December 30, 2014Visa on arrival desk is called Landing Visa. Have forms ready. Sit near window to make it easier to hear your name called out (in a strong Vietnamese accent). Use Vinasun or Mai Linh taxis.
- Elise ❥January 19, 2023Plenty of taxi / car booking stations right at the exit of the airport. Much easier booking a ride here than with Grab because the traffic is very heavy and you might miss your Grab
- Hyejin AhnSeptember 1, 2013Stay on 3rd floor to use wi-fi like illy coffee shop and burger king when you trasfer. And chicken pho from food shop is quiet delicious:-)

- Misheru TOctober 2, 2018Got a traveller SIM card for VND150k with unlimited data and VND20k credit at the arrival hall. Use it to find your way or get into the city. Grab costs less than VND100k for a car.
- adyAugust 16, 2022After you go through immigration and security and finally in the departure areas, F&B are quoted mainly in USD. You can still pay in VND though prices will be double of F&B outside the airport.

- James YeangFebruary 24, 2019If you pass a watercooler and need water, use it. Because watercoolers are not as available as you might think in this otherwise very nice airport.
- HatemApril 8, 2013Other than alcohol & tobacco everything is much more expensive than outside. Make sure that you eat before you head here as the food court (level 3) almost everything here is $8+. $8 for a whopper!!
- Banu DnzrMarch 12, 2015A small and peaceful airport. The lounges and restaurants are upstairs. It has a long corridor of local souvenir shops. The gem section is my favorite :)
- Stephanie TehMarch 31, 20162 buses go into Ben Thanh bus station: green #152 (5k VND per person; bags separate charge) & yellow #109 (20k VND pp including bags; newer + more spacious)

- Simple DiscoveriesJune 1, 2016Look for the new express bus to get in/out of town. Big yellow bus runs only 20,000 VND & takes you to into town, ending at 9/23 park in District 1. Bus number 109.
- Christine JessicaJuly 22, 2019This airport located in the city. So if you have long transit time, you can go outside, walk from here to get street food, or a cup of coffee. Be careful of pickpockets.
- Dan TranJanuary 13, 2017Use the Grab Taxi app and make sure you look at the driver show you the price upon arrival because I think they can manually add on to your estimated fee. Still cheaper than the airport taxi!
- Russell HirschornOctober 23, 2016Dont forget your pre approval letter, N1 entry form and one ID photo for visa. They dont use M3 entry form anymore. There are benches to sleep on in the intl departures terminal and a cafe open 24hrs

- Derek MorrinMarch 27, 2015Ask for a taxi from the friendly staff just after customs, they'll call you a car and you can pay in advance. Reasonably priced, it's the green & white stand at the end.
- It is better to choose Boeing flight 'cause the plane is bigger and smooth when flying ! Ask the staff desk to have your sit nearby emergency door for bigger space for your feet !
- Lisa StarbucksNovember 16, 2019Pretty ineffective and inefficient airport. Immigration even during night hours will take an hour. Feels like they stuck in the past and don’t catch up. The free wifi is weak and you get cut out.
