Sandwich with fries, why not? Amazing combination of the foods. The sandwich size is so huuuuge, you might consider sharing half with a friend. The Primanti Bros. has become a symbol of PA.

There is no going wrong here. Typically, you get the Pittsburgher with an Iron City. I prefer Budweiser, but Primantis is a Pittsburgh classic. I've never had a bad meal here. Amazing chili as well.

Any of the sandwiches are great. We had steak and cheese, ham and cheese, fish and Cajun chicken sandwiches. Lots of fries and coleslaw. You won’t leave hungry

Sandwiches are decent. Not so generous with their meats. Sandwiches are primarily made up of the fillers- slaw, fries and tomato. Sandwich bread if fresh and tasty and the fries are homemade and crisp

Love the pastrami and steak sandwiches. Slaw is amazing vinegar and sugar base. Huge but too good not to eat every bite!! Go to at strip and walk it off afterward visiting all the shops.

Surprisingly good capicola and cheese. Very large sandwiches. Super affordable. No plates or silverware. Classic PGH interior with fun quirky service.

I had the Pastrami and Cheese. Good but I wish it had some sort of sauce on it to give it more flavor. The fries were good! I think I would try a sandwich with an egg on it to give it more flavor.

I get the tradition, but the corned beef was delicious - I felt it was kind of diluted by the fries and coleslaw on the sandwich. If I went again, might ask to separate. Even if that is blasphemous.

I had the ham sandwich. What can I say, the sandwich is absolutely delicious and disgusting at time. It's with white bread, squished with fries and slaw. I couldn't finish mine.

If you like sandwiches and burgers which come with fries and slaw, this is the place. Just know that the fries and slaw are on the sandwich, not the plate. This is roll up your sleeves food.

Great piece of Pittsburgh folklore. Went to original location as well as PNC park. The sandwich at the ballpark was just as good as the restaurant...pleasant surprise.

If you're a virgin, get the pastrami or the kielbasa. If this is your second time, add an egg. And whatever you do, be sure to wash it all down with an Iron City beer.
