Partly for kids and partly for adults. Awesome exhibits on navigation instruments, Dutch maritime innovation, art, and other stuff. Also very cool and free locker system for storing your stuff.

Great maritime fun whatever your age. There is a variety of things to interest you, and you can go on the replica ship outside. Beware if you have a bad back: it's definitely for small people!

Highlight is without a doubt the replica of a VOC ship. Very impressive. All texts are in Dutch and English. Loved it.

A nice museum. Try to see everything but if you don't its ok! Definitely though visit the ship outside! Definitely definitely definitely! It was amazing!!!!

Great newly renovated museum. A walk through VOC ship is amazing, with a bit of imagination really brings past marine voyages into reality

Beautiful courtyard. Don't miss seeing the East Indiaman Amsterdam replica moored outside. Voyage at sea exhibit fun though makes no sense!

It's sort of sparse. Not much of a "museum" after their renovations but it is nice, nonetheless. Save time to visit the replica sailing ship outside.
