- Come to the hot deli section at 8:10 PM to get as much food as you can put in / pile up in the box (don't even need to close it) for $7.95. They close at 8:20 and will trash everything anyway.
- A cornucopia of all things Asian. Giant tins of biscuits and cookies, dried fish, sauces, and seasonings. Frozen pandan leaves by the coconut and ube!Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- For all kinds of Asian groceries, this is the place to be! I get my Chinese sauces here. Look out for deals. I got 4 Kimbo coconut juice cans for $4!Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Brian StraussJanuary 25, 2023If you need giant bags of rice, this is your spot. I came here looking for asian produce I can't find at the usual American supermarkets and was underwhelmed. Berkeley Bowl is best for produce, period
- Barbara StephensonNovember 30, 2021Large market with hard to find goods like dutch cocoa and salted egg potato chips. Loads of fresh seafood, frozen dumplings, and sweets.
- Rico PaboritoFebruary 28, 2015This place has lots to offer, wide variety and fresh vegetables and fruits, and mported products from asia.
- Jojo LamJanuary 5, 2012The main entrance gets crowded. Drive thru the back as an alternative (San Diego Rd), esp if you are taking side streets and not getting off the freeway.
- You'll find every Chinese food item you can think of, and then some. Prices are very reasonable, too. Parking lot was packed Sat afternoon.
- I love going here for Asian ingredients, drinks, and snacks. And they have a whole half aisle dedicated to instant ramen!
- Charlene ThroolinJanuary 25, 2014Love this store everything is so fresh, the fish counter is amazing. Big salmon tonight for dinner...
- _January 25, 2016Well stocked most of the time, but this super market can get crazy crowded. You might be waiting 30 minutes to check out.
- Fresh Asian vegetables, wide selection of fresh fish, and all the Asian specialty foods you can imagine. You might think you were in Hong Kong!!
- Jessica WebsterFebruary 6, 2013Durian. Pocky. Snap peas for like nothing, fish fried before your eyes, and buckets of pigs' blood forming the border between produce, tofu, and beasts. Yay.
- Lola JacksonJuly 16, 2010Amazing Asian marketplace. My favorite things inside is the little tea shop where a nice old man works. Good boba. DO NOT GET THE PHO.
- Basically your 1 stop shop for all your Chinese and Asian and even American grocery needs. Avoid packed weekends.
- Christopher Lee-EganJanuary 21, 2016I mostly do Korean grocery shopping, but they got some of the pan-Asian stuff covered here.
- During February and March they should have amazingly sweet Sumo/dekopon oranges. Get a box.
- Produce is great. Get your lotto at the desk near the inside-bakery.
- Listen close for your number at the fish monger, they will pads right over it if you don't speak up right away.
- Try and avoid the crowds on the weekend, you'll have better luck finding parking on weekdays.
- Teresa RoJanuary 8, 2016I'm Asian. I have to shop here. Always smells funny, but then it wouldn't be a proper 99.
- This place would be great if they kept most products in stock like soy sauce.
