Go up to level 2 for boarding and turn left this space opposite Starbucks coffee. And also have toilet .You can charge mobile phone or you just wire for your phone.

Don't understand why people complains about a boring terminal. It is an airport. Several coffee shops, gym and free use of computers are available. When you come show your passport and get free wifi.

Go upstairs for the lounge! It's hidden between the other airline lounges but this is public. It has a shower and a nursing room.

Some nice improvements for the newly renovated T1 with the lower level dedicated to the bus terminal. Airport to Xindian MRT costs 135 NT via DaYou and takes about one hour!

Comfy reclining seats at Gate A4, good place to sleep. Also the free wifi at Terminal 1 is fast.

Gates A1 to A3 or 4 share the same waiting area so seats are pretty limited...so go earlier (reach the gate 1h earlier) if you want seats

There is an area outside arrivals marked as 'Telecommunications'. Get your prepaid sim cards here. Taiwan Mobile is best at 500twd for 5 days unlimited data with credit for calls and texts

125 TWD by bus to the downtown departing every 15 min (50~70 min). 1200~1400 TWD going by Taxi. Cash only.

even after the renovation, food options are limited. most of their F&B options are in the B1 food court public access area. after immigration, all you're left with are coffee joints.

A1 (Jetstar) gate is pretty far so factor in some time. Security and customs seem quite fast (this was on a weekday evening flight)

Liked the decorations of some waiting rooms. Not so many food options but there are good duty-free shops and free wifi.

For those that are waiting to check in, go up to level 3 departure hall. They have lots of seating there due to the ongoinging construction

Wifi signal varies among the airport. Logon to 'hinet' for free wifi, signal strongest among the Gates area! be sure to check-in and claim your mayorship ;)

Worst airport layout. Almost no food options after going through security. Not a single coffee shop. Only one restaurant with Chinese food. Very boring unwelcoming ambiance. Meh... 😢

Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 1 has bus transportation system available just outside the airport, bought tickets over the counter and bus left on time👍

The bus counter is way cheaper than taking a taxi. However, most only take cash so get $TWD in the arrivals hall first.
