Get at the square arround 9pm! Guards will take flage down, and if you are lucky, sometimes they will fold it into flower shape! ^^ Worth to see, if you like stuff like this! At 6am they rise the flag

MUST VISIT: Never miss this impressive structure when visiting Hanoi! The queue towards Ho Chi Minh's embalmed body is long but it will only take you less than an hour to pass through the plaza.

Ho Chi Minh isnt there for three months a year. Check before visiting. If he isnt there go at night, really nice when it is lit. Located near lots of other sites.

When you take in the magnitude of what this 1 man means, this is a very special place. Go between 07:00 and 10:30 as otherwise you cannot enter. Free but very strict, no photos, you follow a path.

Best to visit in the afternoon, just before it closes at 4pm.This way you can stay behind, have a snack at the stalls nearby or stroll at the park and wait for the wonderful display lights of the bldg

Make sure your knees and shoulders are covered, or they won’t let you into the square. Same as in temple, so always a good idea to carry a scarf for “emergency” cover ups.

Show your respect to the Vietnam leader and dress properly and come in time as the tomb closes before 11am. Must see when you're in Hanoi!

The 2nd floor doesn't have English descriptions and is a little sparse. However, the 3rd floor has an amazing surrealistic display that is far more interesting than that of the Hanoi Fine Arts Museum

A good choice to pay respect to the man who made Vietnam possible. The whole process is very systematic and easy to follow.

One of the main attractions. It is a shame that you're not allowed inside without having booked a tour way in advance.

A beautiful tomb in the middle of the complex. Lines are long but are kept moving so it does not take long. Inside you will find a very impressing sight.

It's a lot like Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow, Russia. The compound is huge but nice that they diverted the crowd so you don't feel like you had to wait for a long time.

It is ok to visit, lots to look at, practically nothing that is linked to Ho Chi Minh. Full of historical inaccuracies and random items. Maybe visit if you cant find anything else to do.
