Excellent museum highlighting the life & art of the fascinating Frida Kahlo. The museum is in a very hip & interesting neighborhood. Also don't miss L. Trosky 's museum closeby.

Great museum, make sure to take the video guide. If you want to take pictures inside the museum you need to pay 60 pesos (stupid, in my opinion but worth it).

Awesome museum. The best in CDMX. To avoid long lines ask for the Bus Combo with Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo museums. 130 pesos

A really good museum: the grounds are gorgeous, intimate bits of her life are scattered throughout, and the art is stunning. Make sure to hit Tostadas Coyoacán and Café Avellaneda afterwards!

Collection of Frida and Diego artwork, as well as lovely peaks into what their decor looked like while living here. Line can get long so maybe look into booking online if you’re short on time

Buy ticket online, you'll still have to stand in line for at least 30mins. It's worth it to buy the photography pass so you can take pictures. Takes about 1-2hours to go through. Better than expected!

Loved the temporary exhibition of her dresses and fashion. But tickets before coming. Come early or stay after to walk around cute Coyoacan. Line up at the museum 10min before. Done in 45-60min.

Lines start forming before 10:30am. We got tickets in advance on the internet but it made no difference. Even though we were first group (11am) people buying tickets the day of were let in before us.

Expensive but AMAZING! It is a must for sure. Be aware, you must pay 30 extra pesos to be allowed to take pictures inside (rip-off). But still, go and be delighted

Pro tip: Buy tickets in advance online so you don't have to wait in line. If there's time, the Leon Trotsky museum is nearby too.

The house itself is beautiful, so it is worth taking a book and hanging out in the garden for a bit if it is not very crowded. My favorite part of the exhibition is Frida's dress collection.

I’ve made the mistake of not buying tickets in advance online. Expect to waste a couple of hours in line. Go get lost around the beautiful little colorful streets of Coyoacan instead :)

You absolutely must buy your tickets online in advance. Each ticket has a time slot (30 minute increments) and you should show up to get in line 10 minutes before your assigned time.

Purchasing tickets in advance on their website will not guarantee entrance for the time you purchased your ticket. You should still arrive early (30-60min) before your scheduled time to wait in line.

Everyone knows you should visit the Frida Kahlo museum, which happens to be her big, beautiful blue house. After touring Frida's house, head to the Coyoacan market nearby for some tostadas.

Tickets were impossible, but we were in the area so we walked by to take in the beautiful blue building. Looks like that's all anyone is interested in anyway! Maybe save yourself the trouble!

Lots of interesting exhibits, if you want pictures inside of the museum itself you’ll need a special permit which you can purchase when you buy your tickets.

Book tickets in advance to skip lines - it's about a 30min Uber from the city centre. Make time to go to the nearby Mercado Coyoacan for food before/after.

The actual Frida exhibit is small and feels quite lacking. The garden area is lovely however. Be warned: it’s an extra MXN$30 to take photos inside.

This place has personal items of the artist. Ask for a guided tour, it's highly recommended. You can watch some screenings about Frida every hour.

Interesting, but very overcrowded place. Museum staff is goading visitors all the time, so you are not able to inspect all exhibits as long as you want. Extra payment for photo permit is a bad joke...
