- みけMarch 3, 2016白鷺が導いた境内地の伝説があります。北条時宗が戦死者を慰霊するため、新しい寺を作ろうと探していたが、なかなか適地が見つからないでいると、鶴岡八幡宮の神霊が白鷺に姿を変えて北鎌倉の地に導いてくれました。この白鷺が舞い降りた場所が円覚寺の門前にある白鷺池だと言われています。

- 円覚寺の御朱印は入口の御朱印所で頂けます。入場時に御朱印帳を預けて行く人が多いようですが、奥にある佛日庵でも御朱印が頂けるので、帰りに頂くのが良いと思います。
