It's often worth having a look on the website and their twitter feed (@CamPicturehouse) for special events like Director/Writer Q&As or etc, often very good. Go to at least one, very interesting

I love this theatre. And it has a great cafe with nice variety of red and white wine! A bit pricey but worth visiting. Especially during festivals

Membership is something of a steal - if you intend to be here more than 3/4 times in a year. Remember you can use it at all other Picturehouse cinemas as well.

Bar is very nice, and recently refurbished. Food good, the 'Gertrude's Special Crepe' is recommended if you fancy some food.

One of my favourite cinemas, showing a wide range of films from around the world. Screen 1 is particularly impressive. The superb Cambridge Film Festival is held here every year in mid September.

Sadly gone, but framed on the cafe wall were things that the cleaners had found. There were obvious things like babies' shoes, gross things like toe-nail clippings, and a pair of skimpy pink knickers!
