- Gregg PullanoAugust 22, 2013The menu on 4sq is wrong. Ignore it. The sushi is very good, but not deluxe. You get more of it for the price so its a good value nonetheless. Vegetable Gyoza is awesome! Definitely worth a try.
- Alex LeeSeptember 25, 2016Update: Not as good as it used to be and it takes SO long. Check out Sushi Maki at the DowntownMarket for better sushi and cheaper if you go for the lunch special.
- Kristin WeisAugust 23, 2013I wouldn't say it's the best sushi in Grand Rapids. For the price, though, it's a good bargain. You get 8 pieces for each roll instead of 6.
- Jake StilsonMay 10, 2012Much better sushi than do or marado. It's quaint, affordable, and the presentation is spot on.
- Summer WinterfallMarch 7, 2012best place in town! try the Kim chi with avocado! or the fried sweet potato roll!
- Salmon + mango roll is probably the best. It isn't on the menu though so be sure to write it out.
- Xo is a great deal on tuesdays if you want to deal with a long wait and shotty roll jobs.
- Not just my favorite sushi place, my favorite local restaurant period.
- I've had sushi all over town. Freshest ingredients around.
- F. Morado. It's gross. Their sushi is dry. Much better selection at Sushi Yama. Try the banana roll or a California Spider Roll!
- Best place in town for sushi, that mans hat is awesome
- Mark BreymeyerJanuary 14, 2011Get back in your car and drive one more block to Marado. Much better sushi and service there.
- Marado doesn't have better service and you receive less sushi for your money.
