    Although the center closes at 5PM, make sure you get there before 3:45PM to be able to see both trains together. They put the trains back into storage around 4:05pm and 4:30pm.

    Nice site to visit worth the trip. Only 1.5 hrs from SLC. Be sure to get there before 5PM to see the Locomotives.

    If you have a choice, go in the summer, when the snow is melted and you can see the trains on the tracks.

    Been here 5+ times
    Make sure you visit on May 10th for the annual anniversary reenactment. May 10th, 2014 marks 145 years.

    The locomotives run at 10 am & 10:30 am, so be sure to arrive on time!

    Only an 1.5 hours from downtown SLC. The park rangers are very helpful and knowledgeable.
