If you're going to Sintra, select 4 zones return ticket. It costs less than 5 euros! Can be confusing when it's your turn at the ticket machine!

if going short distance, get a top-up card elsewhere as the machines tend to run out and you have to wait in line for the window, even better come with money already on your card

AKA the station where tourists take the train to Sintra. Pro tip: fewer people take the trains with transfers to Sintra, so its easier to find a good seat.

If you're going to Sintra and using the self-serve machines try to use coins. Some of the bills get eaten up and there are hardly any customer service reps to help.

Tickets to Sintra about €2,20. The trip takes 40 min. Two trains every hour.

The ticket machines are confusing. They take notes and give change. Only PT cards accepted. Select station and 2 units if you need return.

Trens para Sintra, de onde se pode ir ao Palácio da Peña. O táxi já não é tão barato e costumam ter preços fixos para o local. E lá não tem ponto. Existe um ônibus regular que faz o trajeto.

Ferah bir istasyon, oldukça da kolay bir yerde. Sintra'ya gidecekseniz bu istasyonu kullanmalısınız. Viva card geçiyor. Sintra gidiş dönüş 4.3 euro.

Horários mudaram a partir de 11.12.2011.Comboios de 15/15 minutos durante o dia e de 30/30 minutos à noite, fins de semana e feriados.

Para Sintra os trens são as xx:00 e xx:40. A fila leva meia hora. Planeje - se antes.
