At Munich airport Lufthansa passengers can check their bags in themselves! New baggage drop-off machines guide passengers through this easy process. You'll find the system in Terminal 2.

The world`s most relaxing and convenient hub. Noone can beat those 35 mins min conex time. Did you note that, even during peak hours, it is so quiet in there despite thousands of people transferring?

Without any doubt: when changing flights in Europe, MUC is your #1 choice. Smooth, quiet, cosy, great shopping and excellent restaurants. And: 35 minutes minimum connection time is unrivaled.

One of the most efficient airports I have seen! It is very clean and you get around it quickly. It is not impressive in architecture per se but it’s clockwork. Lufthansa business lounges are 👍 :)

Use P20 to park (prebook to get a good rate) then its around 150m to the terminal. Coming from P20 you right away hit the automated baggage machines. Use them, avoid the staff and the queues.

The arrival point for visitors from around the world. Lufthansa lands at Terminal 2. The adjoining observation deck offers a wonderful view of the take-off and landing runways.

Beer is cheaper than coffee and juice. This place has its own brewery. 3.50 euros for 0.5 liter mug. Middle of the range coffee and smoothies are 5 and up.

Lufthansa is correct in proudly calling MUC their "premium hub". It`s the worlds nicest and most convenient terminal with all Star Alliance carriers under one roof. And it´s so quiet in there..

Only 30min of free wifi is barely enough, if you wait for a connecting flight longer, but free tea, coffee and newspaper at the gates provided by Lufthansa make up for that! :)

When you are hungry here, it's best to eat before passing Security checks, if you are boarding at terminal one; at Terminal 2 there' s plenty of choice & good quality behind security.

Instead of the S-Bahn use the Lufthansa Shuttlebus (even if you didn't fly Lufthansa) to get straight to Munich Central Station. Air-Con, non stop, and you get to ride on the Autobahn. Price: 11 Euro.
