The laksa cauldron here is charcoal-fired. In today's day and age, this is old school. I don't know about you but I'd bet that the extra yumminess in their laksa traces its way back here ...

This is my favorite laksa place. Cheap & delicious laksa prepared in the old school way using charcoal fire. One bowl is never enough.

- No chopsticks required. You will not need them. All you need is the spoon. Although what you really want to do is pick up the bowl and slurp direct.

Awesome! Buy the large bowl instead of the small one, you'll not regret it.

This is the original deal Sungei Road Laksa. Look for a old uncle in white singlet. Not the one at Kelantan lane.
