The downtown Alamo location has great series such as Terror Tuesday, Weird Wednesday, and various retrospectives. Buy tickets in advance and get drinks rather than food.

Best movie theatre in town. Plus, if you do not like the movie, then you can drink your miseries away at a nearby bar. I recommend Casino El Camino or Jackelope.

And if you've never done a quote or sing along you must go there now.- If you have a hot date, spring and get the balcony seats. You're walked through the kitchen and projector room and are in big leather arm chairs.

I love this theatre so much. I would even watch a Tom hanks movie just to enjoy the experience.
Two things I thought I would never say in 2012: Poltergeist is sold out at the theatre. ET will be in 35mm.
