Excellent collection of modern art housed in a architecturally significant building. Picasso, Miro and Dali are featured. If you go early on a weekend, you will have the place to yourself.

Great and manageable selection of modern & modernist art classics. Crowned with Guernica, the selection of weeping women & sketches by Picasso, along with 3 dancing women, are astounding.

Take time to read why Guernica was created (as part of the Spanish Republic's exhibit at the 1937 World's Fair, in Paris) - then look around nearby rooms to see & understand what else was shown there.

Huge museum, but if you are a moderate fan of modern art and only want to see "the classics", come after 7pm (free entrance) and go directly to 2nd floor, skipping all the rest.

A treasure chest of Picasso and Dali paintings, including Guernica. The newly renovated and expanded architecture is an interesting old palace meets industrial vibe.

Stunning museum. A lot of Picasso and Miró paintings, really worth the visit. The mix between the traditional construction and the modern architecture is beautiful.

More compelling than the nearby Prado. I have spent hours staring at Picasso's Guernica that memorializes the bombing of the village of Guernica during the Spanish Civil War.

There are two ticket offices. The one on the side with the new extension is empty and very fast if you're not looking to see Dali. Dali tickets are for entry at certain times also.
