You cannot go wrong here! Love the unusual savory pies (BBQ pork, sausage-tomato-fennel), quiche (spinach/goat cheese), and Baltimore Bomb. They have a liquor license and do a great Irish coffee!
The Pie is great, both hot and cold, and the shop is warm and welcoming. On the Avenue. A must visit location for Hampden and the City of Baltimore. Walking distance from Hopkins.
I have been a DDP fan for about 3 years but I never tried their savory pies. Just pecan and small cup of coffee, but this time I threw caution to the wind and got the STF and a Nati Boh. STF YES!
Decent pies, but nothing so amazing that I would go out of my way to eat here again. If ever in NYC, get the sour creamapple pie from The Little Pie Company to experience a truly great piece of pie.
The name says it all. Go for the Baltimore Bomb (shortbread crust with vanilla chess filling) with a scoop of ice cream. Warm & cold, balanced perfectly.
Now that I've had their steak pie with mushrooms, I kind of want ALL of my food served to me in pie form. Steak was tender, creamy-cheesy sauce was off the charts, and crust was perfection.
Try some UncleBrutha's ALLSAUCE with your slice of savory pie! Good heat.. flavor cant be beat! Produced locally.. Best hot sauce on the Planet! Visit www.unclebrutha.com for info and ordering.
Best lunch in Union Station, hands down. I for a savory pie slice, it comes with salad. Competitive with what you'll pay for lunch at McDs or Bon Pain but tastier and morally superior.
These pies are a meal and a half. Come hungry, leave happy. It's also a nice place to work with free Wi-Fi when it's not crowded, so not weekends. WiFi password: bytheslice
The name says it all: these pies are so delicious, you'll want to eat a dangerous amount of them ! Offering savory and sweet slices, they are all made by hand, one by one with the best ingredients.
