One luggage check in per person. You can have two luggage packed into one at the packaging area as long aa it doesnt exceed 23kg. When u get there haggle for 15rmb instead of the usual 50rmb. Its safe

If you get stuck with terminals 18-21 in domestic, go upstairs over by the snack area... Plenty of seating and you overlook the area.
Free wifi if you use cmcc. Connect to CMCC-xmairport-free. Input your mobile number and a password will be sent to you by text message. Faster than the xm-airport-free wifi
If you're at the departure area but find that KFC is full, just take the escalator/elevator down to the arrival area's KFC, there will probably be more space there.
The international counters open at 6 in the morning~ and there is a huge KFC on the right of you arrive early and hungry~

Jung KimSeptember 7, 2020Most painful Covid-19 test i’ve taken so far. After immigration, you’ll be transported to some building for another process. After that, you are taken to the hotel downtown. Fukin tedious!!!
If you are taking the earliest flight in the morning, do remember to leave earlier otherwise you will be in a hurry

They say that if you can be consistently late you can be consistently early. I wish this would happen for the air travel in china. Can only hope.

BeLe ChenJune 13, 2011If you think you'll be overweight, check in at the counters where the younger staffs are. They're more forgiving than the old ones :)- If you want to take a taxi without waiting you could go upstairs to take the one from which the passenger just goes off

Free wifi at Ishijah Coffee, but don't go there. At 58 RMB for a latte you'll have to remortgage the house just to get your dose of caffeine. That price would be ridiculous in London, let alone Xiamen

Free WiFi for China mainland mobile number. Some area can give free WiFi under China unicom.
